From Royal visits, to Jubilee and Coronation celebrations, to countless Ministerial visits, it has been a dynamic and exhilarating couple of years at the Consulate.

As my time at @UKinNewYork comes to an end, I’ve spent these last few weeks reconnecting with so many of the incredible folks I’ve met in this role. Thank you to everyone who joined us this week to say goodbye (for now). I’ll be very sure to stay in touch!
Congratulations to this year's @MarshallScholar winners! Their achievements embody the motto of New York State: Excelsior! (Ever upward). I look forward to seeing their continued success in the UK’s prestigious higher education institutions and wish them a wonderful time abroad.

The trade & economic cooperation agreements the UK is signing with US states aim to ease barriers, create jobs and make trade easier for British and Hoosier businesses. Great to see HMTC @ewadesmith and leaders from Indiana government and business discuss ways to support this.
Indiana exported $1.7bn worth of goods & services to the UK in 2021, and British companies employed ~28K in the state in 2020.
This week, UK and state leaders met to discuss how UK and Hoosier businesses and workers can take advantage of the recent UK-IN trade agreement.
As Honorary President of @SGS_NY, I’m proud that Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill (@J_Ennis) - the inspirational Olympian and 3-time World Champion heptathlete - will be the Honouree at this year’s British Bash on Nov. 30th in NYC.

The terrorist attacks of 9/11 forever impacted NYC and the world. 22 years later, memories of the horrors remain vividly etched in our minds and hearts as we gathered at the @QEIIGarden to honour and mourn those who perished.
Congratulations to Sir Simon Schama for the release of his book, “Foreign Bodies: Pandemics, Vaccines and the Health of Nations.” @TinaBrownLM and I were pleased to celebrate @Simon_Schama’s newest work of history, one which feels particularly pertinent in a post-Covid world.
