@MillarRichard@scottishcanals@networkrailscot I’ve seen this many times including dumping the weeds over the embankment where the recent canal breach happened near Polmont - could that have weakened that narrow embankment?
If you are out on Scotland's canals and towpaths for a walk, run, paddle, or cycle this weekend don't forget to Be Safe, Be Smart and Be Kind as you take in the #CanalMagic 🤗

Asking anyone for help can be a daunting prospect, but at the Scottish Tech Army we’re here to listen and offer our support. In this blog & illustration, we explain what happens when you contact the STA and speak to our brilliant triage team: https://t.co/K16X6Gcp3g
@scottishcanals Love this, also a ‘kill your pace and share the space!’ Message would be good 15 - 20 % of cyclists think nothing of passing at speed, or not giving pedestrians right of way! The other 85% are generally amazing and friendly!
If you're planning to visit our canals this weekend please remember:
✔️Stay 2m apart where possible
✔️Our towpaths are shared spaces - be mindful of other users
✔️Take your litter home with you - watch the video from Environment Manager Dr Olivia Lassiere on why this is important
Huge congratulations to our two senior @dressCodeHQ pupils Toni and Clara! They are finalists in this years Young Digital Leader of the Year. They have done so much to help close the gender gap in CS and inspire the next generation into tech. VOTE HERE https://t.co/LD8yKJsi2w
