@AlanWatsonFeat1@Watts_SH Fair point. However if every carcass was left out, that release of nutrients would still be unnatural for a healthy ecological system, and would artificially subsidise meso-predator populations. How best to mimic nature?
Why is there so much regeneration around this particular pine tree but not much around about? The ground all seems the same to me. Perhaps this tree simply has particularly strong seed
