@Safaricom_Care@PeterNdegwa_ I made request at 11:32am and was promised SLA of 2hrs. Since then I have talked to 6 business support and sent 4 emails. So now I am told to I wait another 2 hours because someone just opened a ticket at 4:59pm. In the meatime my day is wasted.
My gut tells me that this is another scam. Someone needs money and so creates this tender/scam. I guarantee you, only the rich will supply these desks and no mwananchi will benefit. This will be worse than the KEMSA scam. Kenyans please do not allow this. @kot#kenyansaretired
So the government now says that they are sourcing school desks and chairs locally....where have they been importing them from before? If my memory serves me right, my former school (and I believe all public schools) sourced these from local artisans and they did a good job.
The carpenter too got money to pay his son's fees and the local timber and hardware store got some income too. This was the beginning of my love for DIY and today I am good at building things.
This was the best way to promote local businesses while building skills. I remember at one point, I helped the local carpenter build desks for my school and I even engraved my name on my own desk that I helped build.
#NewsGang@KOT @dailynation , @citizentvkenya Influencial people importing and exploding prices of PPEs to govt at the expense of cheaper local certified products. Corruption is killing our industries
@kot so I call @KenyaPower_Care to report an exploding transformer and a stupid agent insist that she can't log in my report without my account # which is in a different town from the incidence. Why do I even bother?
@KenyaPower_Care True....but not your power. We are going solar since you are too stubborn to give us power. Four years is a long time to seek your service with no success.
Naskia hii ndio anthem ya Revolution. We elect the corrupt political class, we empower them and we have the power to bring about change. Are we tired enough to do what is necessary to stop oppression and impunity? #Tumechoka
You don't necessarily have to find a passion first. It can happen the other way around; deciding to focus on something, learning and growing in it, and then passion follows.
