@LoganPAdams BPM is dependent on the players on the floor with you (and against you). I doesn’t measure you. It measures the group. It’s a wide angle lens instead of zooming in on one player.
@just_adavis None, which I believe is your point. The Pels have to run it back and hope for internal growth, possibly enhanced by the new coaching staff.
@NOLAJake For the record Jay, are you Ok with the these “go get your guy“ moves:
Trading Indy 26 1st for Indy’s 25 1st days before Indy’s 25 season ends?
Trading their 26 1st unprotected for #8 in 25?
Trading expiring contract of CJ & Olynyk for Poole?
Picking up Hawkins option year?
@SGMAN31@ProPelsTalk No, the issue is the FO didn’t find a creative way to stay within the 1 year vet minimum rules, like a player option for the second year.
@DaquavisRondo@ProPelsTalk If you look in Shamit’s original post you will see that I said this before my post above:
The above is enough to say the Pels have by far the most amateur Front Office in the NBA. Now add trading expiring contracts CJ and Olynyk for Poole, who is useless & has a longer contract.
@DaquavisRondo@ProPelsTalk It’s not the absolute dollars but the cap space they would have gained. That cap space has real value beyond the dollars saved. It could make the difference between trading a player into the Pels‘ cap space & that trade either giving the Pels a quality player or draft capital.
@FearTheBrown The above is enough to say the Pels have by far the most amateur Front Office in the NBA. (I don’t see either of the first two as minor.)
Now add trading expiring contracts CJ and Olynyk for Poole, who is useless & has a longer contract (and some minor assets that worked out).
