The chemistry students took advantage of the sun on Tuesday and tested out their solar ovens by cooking smores. Some of their ovens went up to 110 degrees in 30 minutes, which was impressive considering it was a cold day in January. A fun way to end the semester.
Our EWG FFA won the quiz bowl contest last week at their leadership conference at Johnson and Wales. Last night some of our members competed at Chariho in the greens competition and they did well. Congrats to all who competed!

Our EWG High School Holiday Plant Sale is Dec 12th from 4pm - 7pm in the greenhouse and agricultural area behind the school! The Floriculture and Garden Club students have been working hard this semester learning to grow a wide selection of herbs and cold tolerant vegetables!
