@fionamau Hello Fiona, don't we see you in Grenoble at the end of June? #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@SueAnnan Thank you for sharing your ideas on the topic, always an enjoyable learning experience for me as a trainee #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@SueAnnan @jonjoTESOL thank you for the clarification #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@jonjoTESOL @SueAnnan are we talking about CPD accredited courses or just informal sessions? #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@jonjoTESOL @SueAnnan @fionaljp @MoreMsJackson Do you see a difference in terms of motivation when CPD is done in the form of eLearning or if people have to be physically attending a live event? #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@SueAnnan Hello Sue & Jonjo, how are you? #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@fionaljp Hi Fiona, I'm here! tonight's topic sounds really interesting but I don't know if I should stay, I've got tons of work! #ELT

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@GioLic1976 @fionaljp was it your first time taking this concept/topic abroad? #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@SueAnnan @GioLic1976 I would do the same. As long as everything is done in a respectful & sensible manner, I would let the learners take the lead #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@GioLic1976 this makes your work even more relevant in terms of beneficial impact non only on learners but on entire school communities #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@SueAnnan @Marisa_C Haha, poor kid! I can relate 😄 #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@GioLic1976 @bellinguist @stonewalluk Very true. Engaging students in a dialogue on the subject is the most important step #ELT

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@GioLic1976 @Marisa_C Teachers & schools admin. have a big responsibility in all this. A supportive, nonjudgmental environment is key to achieve success #ELT

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@GioLic1976 @fionaljp They seem to have a high level of awareness & maturity on social issues #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@GioLic1976 @koomska @fionaljp @KateLloyd05 Yes, I did & found the way you tackle the issue quite interesting & creative #ELTchat

[EnglishWorld2019 @EWorld2019]

@SueAnnan Regardless of the subject taught, promoting diversity & inclusivity is a crucial step in any classroom #ELTchat
