@RobertsSpaceInd I'll start with my beloved Gladius, doing some nonsense tricks above the water level. Then, I'll switch to my mighty Hammerhead and "gracefully" deep dive into the water.
@EricssonTurbo A similar approach is used for physical damages on Star Citizen, but in a more advanced way due to their requirements. Here is a screenshot from a ship had a bad day, showing internal pieces
@EricssonTurbo For quality, in UE, you can use material layers. The base layer can be the surface below. Top layer will be the visible one. You can add a blend function to mask damaged areas. Sampling this mask with some shader code, you can simulate the depth around edges and show the surface
@EricssonTurbo For performance, it can be achieved using decals for the surfaces that gets damaged, using PBR textures and possibly POM for simulating depth (parallax occlusion mapping) and can use different mask shapes etc.
@Borislav_Slavov I still hear the notes of the main theme when someone mentiones Arcanum. One of my favorite RPG games - would love to see a remake or a sequal! Also would love to work on it 😂
@joshduffney This is my terminal using alacritty, tmux and starship with the same look for zsh, fish and bash. You can check my dotfiles for configs for some hints https://t.co/cgQ1AySV3X
@joshduffney I helped my Windows user friends pimp their terminals using https://t.co/Syn6uqGmNG which is a cross-shell prompt that supports pretty much everything, meaning you can have the same look through cmd, powershell, zsh, fish etc.
@joshduffney And you can consider installing a new terminal emulator. If I were to switch Windows, I would give https://t.co/hbfBf2gq6i a try. But probably end up using https://t.co/QR6Unn7GXT
@joshduffney Also I would recommend you to install Ubuntu subsystem if you do not need powershell at all eince you come from MacOS. Installing zsh would make you feel like $HOME
@UcanHardal hatırlamaz olur muyum ya, dumur olmuştum! bir anda aklıma 38 tane soru gelmişti ama verebildiğim tek tepki "eneee" gibi bişey olmuştu. istanbulda denk gelmek büyük başarı azizim
