USDXLR Is Now Live on OneSwap and here’s What You Can Do With It.

The dollar has always played an interesting role in crypto.

While traders look for opportunities in volatile assets, dollar-denominated assets offer a different way to hold value and move through the market.

Now, @Oneswapcc has added another option to its Canton ecosystem.

USDXLR/CC is officially live on OneSwap, giving users a new market to swap between USDXLR, a digital dollar from @excellarfinance, and @CantonNetwork’s $CC.

USDXLR is designed to connect digital finance with traditional financial instruments. According to Excellar Finance, the asset is backed by US Treasury bills, with a focus on efficient settlement and access to dollar-denominated value.

The project also highlights T+0 settlement, meaning eligible transactions can settle on the same day rather than following a longer settlement cycle.

For anyone exploring Canton, having another dollar-denominated asset available for trading adds another option to the mix.

What can you do with USDXLR on OneSwap?

You can now swap between USDXLR and CC through the newly available trading pair.

I also think it’s worth paying attention to how assets like USDXLR fit into Canton’s wider financial ecosystem.

Canton is building around financial applications and tokenized assets, while OneSwap gives users a place to exchange supported assets and access liquidity.
Having more assets available creates additional options for people already exploring the network.

Canton Weekly Update | September 7 to 13

1) @Broadridge launched DLX, a platform for creating and trading blockchain based financial assets. It supports Canton.

2) A proposal to make @GoldmanSachs a Canton Super Validator is open for discussion.

3) Shinhan Asset Management was approved as a Canton Super Validator. The aim is to get more South Korean financial firms using Canton.

4) @TreasurySpring's Canton plan was approved. The goal is to have $5B worth of fund shares on Canton within 12 months of approval.

5) A new draft proposes @a16zcrypto as a Canton Super Validator. It still needs approval.

6) London Stock Exchange Group (@LSEGplc) is also being proposed as a Canton Super Validator. The proposal is open for discussion.

7) @dsrvlabs added a service to hold and manage Canton Coin for businesses and financial firms.

8) @ekidenfi's exchange is live on Canton.

9) @temple_ny has now burned more than 1 billion CC in total.

10) @circle's USYC passed its committee review. Canton's Super Validators are now voting on whether to give it Featured App status.
