@SSSandy21@AaronBastani It has a massive knock of effect on wage structure within firms, also impacts general economic productivity (working 4 days a week or not chasing bonuses that would push you above that). Allowing the Isreal to sportswash itself is a choice that the UCI is making at the beginning of every race. Sport is inherently political, it’s great to see protests forcing the issue.
Last 400m in Bilbao completely lined by pro-Palestine protesters, several deep, faced by armed police. Protestors in their hundreds, maybe thousands. Surreal scene.
@sebvre @cycloben2 It should change because it’s often a non competition. It has potential to be a far more exciting battle between top climbers (like the points jersey). I would up the UCI points or give a wildcard spot at the next giro to the team that wins.
