In late 2007, 20-year-old Messi did a charity calendar shoot at Camp Nou for Diario Sport, FC Barcelona Foundation & UNICEF. Lamine Yamal’s family (from Rocafonda, Mataró) won the raffle. Photographer Joan Monfort took the photos of Messi gently bathing ~5-month-old Lamine in a plastic tub.

They resurfaced in 2024 when his dad posted them. Confirmed by Monfort himself + AP, BBC, etc. Wild full-circle moment.
