There isn't an argument when the Faith is viewed through the Scriptures rather than tradition:
"...we have been justified by faith [along with its ensuing resultants]...because [ὅτι in the Greek ] God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:1-3
The foregoing not only accentuates the perspicuity of Scripture but it inextricably makes the act of being born from above a divinely relational absolute whereby the child of God is infused by both His Spirit and His love from conception. This truth is replete throughout the biblical text.
Scripturally, I see no confusion.
@MarinaMedvin You ought to listen to the esteemed @ProfJohnLennox who is 81, in addition to the equally esteemed @ThomasSowell who is 94. No one who is remotely close to their ages within the Body Politic can compare to either of these two men in intellectual rigor and rhetorical tenacity.
@ekkiet@LOlsonKingsFan Irrespective of genre there is a true literal meaning — a truth — that each genre is revealing within the cohesive entirety of Scripture.
Absolutely correct! Christians who are under the presumption that our vote is meant to eradicate sin from the culture know neither the Scriptures nor the prerogative and power of God. Our vote — like every other word we speak or action we take — is meant to be the venue through which the Holy Spirit mitigates sin by exposing its error and reflecting its guilt, because we are the temple of God the Holy Spirit:
"⁷Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. ⁸And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: ⁹concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; ¹⁰concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; ¹¹concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged." John 16:7-11 [Emphasis mine]
@wrong_speak True that. Sharing the sins of others is not exposing sin. If exposition includes corruption of the heart through a darkening of the light of the eyes, then it is not exposition. It is the dissemination of corruption.
@GratefulJessie Exactly. Sharing the sins of others is not exposing sin. If exposition includes corruption of the heart through a darkening of the light of the eyes, then it is not exposition. It is the dissemination of corruption.
"²⁹But Abraham said, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.' ³⁰And he said, 'No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' ³¹He said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.'"
I empathize. It is extremely difficult for earnest believers to find a church where the Scriptures reign supreme. Check this out and if you like it there are other teachings available until you find a church. Also, I would be more than willing to search for a church in your area that may be suitable for you.

When I was on active duty, I swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. Employed ideologies always come with a cost. If we supplant constitutional integrity with political ideologies, WE become the enemy and WE lose the Republic.
In real time, we have circumvented the Constitution in order to realize the immediacy of political and ideological gratification. This is what makes it possible for China (the Enemy) to own land on our soil; for students to promote Hamas (terrorists) on our university and college campuses; and for a Manhattan District Attorney and Judge to presumptuously indict and seek the felony conviction of a former president.
In the military, I didn't have to like you. I had to fight with you and for you to protect that which we both held most dear — our country.
