Step 1: Notice your patterns.
Step 2: Write out a behavior chain.
Step 3: Identify points where you can exit the loop.
Step 4: Practice exiting the loop with coping skills as soon as possible to avoid big spirals and meltdowns. ♡ #DBT
@BeyondtheBorde3 It is a challenging time and a chaallenging topic. I keep checking back, can’t wait to hear what you have to say (but no pressure at the same time!) take care!
How? How do we teach our daughters to love themselves. Really love themselves? How do we teach them healthy boundaries? How?
I was not taught these things, were you?
I’ve learned, but how do we TEACH it!?
@NatashaLink1 “The life you live is the lesson you teach.” The best way to teach is by example. My mom had poor boundaries, low self esteem, and struggled with body image and eating disorders as I was growing up, so I learned from that and had very similar struggles. Focus on your own healing.

@BeyondtheBorde3 Can't wait for the episode!!! ♡ also knowing way too many details about a partner's ex can lead to such obsessive thinking and fear of abandonment
@BeyondtheBorde3 My most obsessive thoughts revolve around jealousy and often get to a point of paranoia that is very concerning. The jealousy almost always stems from insecurity about my appearance. I have trouble with always attributing my self-worth to my physical appearance.
