Day 64 for the Grand Daddy Crippy from @CajunDankMaster and I’m honestly just looking at these flowers like damn, they’re amazing lol. owers are just amazing lol. Stacked, frosty, and absolutely shining right now. 🌿💎🔥

Do you know that in our legal grow we only use beneficial insects to protect the plants?
Inside our legal cultivation facility, Tom Van Dalen explains a fully biological pest control system based on prevention and balance.
Orius insidiosus is introduced to target thrips throughout multiple stages of their life cycle, actively hunting and feeding on them directly on the plant.
Amblyseius swirskii provides preventive control of spider mites and other small pests by spreading across the leaf surface and suppressing pest populations before they can develop into outbreaks.
The goal is maintaining a stable ecosystem inside the grow room, where beneficial species keep potential pests under control without interfering with plant development.
We avoid any chemical treatments by choosing only targeted biological interactions following the rhythm of the crop.
Every input in cultivation stays connected to what eventually reaches the final product.
Did you already know this approach to plant protection?

Day 53
This one gets a little wild on the structure. Crazy Terp but maybe not a super desirable Terp. I’m not sure yet it could surprise me
Cardano transactions still cost under 0.2 ADA on average, even during busy periods.
That is one of the lowest fees among major L1s while keeping the network extremely secure!! 0 hacks!
Makes it practical for actual daily use and micro-payments instead of just holding.
This kind of efficiency rarely gets talked about but could be huge for adoption.
You making small daily transactions on Cardano yet??
🇦🇫 Have you ever seen a male 🌿 cannabis plant like this? The pollen sacs are large and well-formed, with colas developing that elongated, open structure. This stands apart from the more compact, reduced male expressions common in modern polyhybrids.
🧬 These traits reflect selection pressures from the original environments — reproductive capacity maintained because it mattered for survival and seed set under variable conditions. In contrast, intensive breeding pipelines have largely optimized for female flower density and uniformity, often narrowing the range of male morphology in the process.
📸 Part of the work is recording these baseline expressions across populations before they shift further. It gives clearer reference points when assessing genetic integrity and drift in preserved lines.
Have you thought about the differences from evaluating landrace male stock versus contemporary hybrids?

🚨 SCIENTISTS JUST SOLVED THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH PEROVSKITE SOLAR CELLS AND THEY’RE NOW 27.4% EFFICIENT AND INCREDIBLY STABLE.
For years, perovskite solar cells have been the “almost there” technology: cheap, flexible, and potentially more efficient than silicon… but they degraded too fast.
That problem may finally be solved.
Researchers created an omnidirectional ionic locking network a 2D “nanomesh” that wraps around every single grain in the perovskite layer, locking ions in place and stopping degradation from the inside out.
Why this matters:
• Certified efficiency of 27.37% (one of the highest ever recorded)
• Retains over 90% performance after 2,110 hours of continuous 1-sun illumination
• Keeps over 95% performance after 2,400 hours at 85°C
• Survives 97% after 500 brutal thermal cycles between -40°C and 85°C
In simple terms: these cells are now stable enough for real-world commercial use.
The deeper implication is enormous:
We may finally have solar technology that is both cheaper to make and lasts as long as (or longer than) traditional silicon panels.
If this scales, it could dramatically speed up the global shift to cheap, abundant clean energy and change how we power homes, cities, and even space missions.
What happens when the “almost ready” solar technology finally becomes fully ready?
Follow for more frontier physics and future energy breakthroughs.
Now you can use chemical-free detergent...
Soap flowers are high in a compound known as “saponins”, which creates the rich leather. They are also a fish stupefier!
