Multi-tasking really is a myth!
I often drop the ball when trying to multi task it’s just a nightmare.
Worth sharing this with our students to encourage them to focus on a task rather than multi-task. 👍🏻
It’s the communication of this which morale often falls flat on. Do this, do that with little understanding of why teachers must do it or do that. More conversation, more leadership mobility, more teacher asking to see others teach.
I used to feel like this a lot. Since moving to Dubai I don’t really ever feel like this anymore. The weather situation on the improve as the school year begins and the shared acceptance of working hard in a play hard location means I really get some balance. #CollabUAE
🚨Rare sincere tweet🚨For me, I think anxiety about going back to school stems largely from, once it begins, you know that’s it - you’re totally consumed by it for the next 10 months & will only really get to switch off again next summer. Kinda daunting & never really gets easier
What’s the feeling about making your students cry? Still generally considered a bad thing? Thought so. Had to reject a #FIFA21 challenge from a new Year 6 today.

#EduTwitter is far too full of recommended reading ennit?! I’m struggling just getting through my Twitter sports reading let alone trying to improve my leadership qualities and pedagogy. I’m behind on my footy podcasts too so don’t be suggesting any of those either.
