@diviacaroline The last time I moved like this was when I was single. I had packers and movers do the work. And I crashed with a friend until things arrived. We are considering an international move soon - I would probably get an Airbnb, and I have no plans to move our stuff from here.
@visakanv 2/2 And when you expand it to the world, on the state level and international, the geopolitics of every damn thing is so appalling. And we confuse power for reality. Now, Harry and I have to talk about all of this to our son 😂
@visakanv 1/2 Earlier in my career, working for big banks, I had this mental model of a maze (I'm on the lower level) and how the structures one level above can see and structures above can see a couple of levels down. As the complexity grows nothing makes sense and it becomes blurry.
@deenashakir@chrissyfarr One of the biggest advocates for healthcare was Hillary Clinton, I would like to see her talk. And also, Walter Greenleaf from Stanford about AR/VR and healthcare.
There is a difference between a wall and a boundary. If you put a wall around you; you protect yourself fiercely but also fail to enjoy the rest of the world.
@visakanv A lot of people don’t process their emotions well, it may look like forgiveness, but you may see passive aggression later. If you are the one done something wrong it is easier to ask for forgiveness than assuming.
@RaviHVJ I'm so sorry to read about your health. Our 4-year-old has a long COVID with a bunch of GI issues; it is heartbreaking to see him suffer from pain. We are working on fixing his gut biomes, it seems to help and I'm chasing researchers on a neuro-gut specialty to understand more.
@jeanrunrun@deenashakir@UCSF@StanfordMed@sutter@onemedical Yes, I track everything. To @deenashakir’s point - I have worked in the industry and I now invest. There is so much to work on. It is heartbreaking to see how hard it could be for the affluent among us and I can't imagine what it is for people with limited resources.
