You boast about walking 1 mile, uphill, both ways, in the snow to get to school. Surely your kids can handle a few minutes of darkness before they get on the bus. If not, WALK WITH THEM. That can't be the only reason to keep Standard Time

Okay so.....๐
I've been a fan of DST because I hate 4:40 darkness in the winter. I feel like 3 months of leaving work in the dark contributes to seasonal depression.
The main argument for ST seems to be not wanting kids at bus stops when dark.
Still DST fan. What am I missing?
@ISS_Enterprise@keithedwards While this photo makes the "tire damage" position more plausible, It's still not convincing that the original algae/water marks are caused only by tire tread. That's just not clear from existing photos. However, I appreciate the follow-up. Hadn't seen this photo or direction.
@ISS_Enterprise@keithedwards Your evidence shows them *NOT* driving where the "tire tracks" are. If you want to pretend like you don't see that, there's no way to have a realistic conversation about what actually happened. Clearly, you don't care.
@acordweather@FoxNews This is completely dependent on where you are. You're clearly on the western side of the country. Eastern states see 4:45 sunsets with standard time and sunrise at 5 in the morning. Unfortunately this is something that the country will always be split on.
@ISS_Enterprise@keithedwards This isn't a beach. Over the last week, they've reduced the water in the pool at slow intervals - stopping occasionally - exactly where the algae lines are. Also, I can't find evidence of an Escalade that drove in single-file next to the wall for the entire length of the pool.
