An integrated patrol of Military Observers, @UNPOL, and civilians navigated the remote region of Jemaam in Upper Nile State 🇸🇸, #SouthSudan, to support and protect communities while securing a crucial route for humanitarian supplies between Akoka and Jemaam. Despite challenging road conditions and seasonal flooding from the River Nile, the patrol successfully reached the community, engaging with local authorities and women and youth groups to better understand the impact of displacement and need for improved services, fostering a deeper connection with those affected by ongoing challenges.
