The Strike series consists of five main isometric and 3D shooter titles published by Electronic Arts, with Desert Strike being the highly successful debut. Players pilot military helicopters (like the AH-64 Apache) to complete objectives, manage fuel/ammo, and rescue hostages across open-ended battlefields.
The series went up to 2002 with Desert Strike Advance (GBA), but it was not a new sequel, just a direct port of the original Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game.

The Half-Life 2: All Good Things mod author has shared another dev progress of his Epistle 3 inspired project.

With 11 maps already playable, the playtest session will help shape things up shortly, which you may expect a Steam Workshop release towards the end Autumn (Fall) 2026.

jfc, I just got word of a list of Xbox studio closures (no, not posting them). If it's even close to true (and it's from inside) this will likely be the largest single layoff event in gaming history.

Xbox is going to be supremely unpopular for a very long time and the devastation is going to reverberate like the meteor that took out the dinosaurs.

On top of all that there will also be layoffs at the studios that remain.
