Many amateur traders think they need to trade 10 times a day to make money. They think "scalping" means being glued to the screen, panic-buying, and panic-selling.

Professional trading is the exact opposite. Even elite scalpers wait patiently for a planned 1:2 or 1:3 RRR setup. They take their profit and log off. If the market gives them nothing, they do nothing.

Whether you are scalping, day trading, or swing trading, the biggest mistake you can make is cutting your winners too early. Then, when the chart keeps going up, you panic, feel FOMO, and open terrible, unplanned trades just to "get back in." The golden rule is identical: Plan the trade, trade the plan. Hold your winners patiently. Enjoy the process!
