I may have found a way to reduce some Mobile Money fraud cases. What if funds received into an account were temporarily held for 5 minutes before they become available for transfer or withdrawal?
This short window could allow victims of mistaken or fraudulent transfers to quickly report the transaction before the funds are moved out.
Many fraudsters act immediately after receiving funds. A brief holding period could make recovery easier and help protect users.
Just an idea. What do you think, @MTNGhana@MTNGhana@AskMTNGhana ? 🤔📱

I’ve observed three cycles in every new government we get.
First phase is when they are new and have some goodwill. In this phase, they try to protect this goodwill for as long as they can so they try to do as many seemingly nice things in the interest of citizens and pander a lot to populist sentiments.
Phase 2 is when scandals start brewing and the realities of the country’s foundational shortcomings start getting out of hand. The goodwill starts wearing off, and so they start trying too hard to protect the goodwill which sometimes leads to unnecessary mistakes.
Phase 3 which is the phase I dread the most is when shit truly hits the fan, and they know they’ve lost all the goodwill. And so they shamelessly loot and loot because what else is there to lose.

I have observed a worrying trend where many groups are organizing award schemes for CEOs, institutions, Ministers, and other public officials.
Just as it happened under the previous administration, I have noticed that some State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) are being listed or advertised as sponsors of these awards.
Respectfully, I believe it may be necessary for the Chief of Staff to issue a directive on this matter. Significant amounts of funds appear to be going into sponsoring such events, yet the direct benefit to the social contract we signed with the Ghanaian people remains unclear.
Some of these institutions could instead be encouraged to channel their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) resources into more impactful projects such as the construction of schools, AstroTurfs, drilling of boreholes, refurbishment of markets, and other community-based interventions.
Unfortunately, some institutions seem to be continuing the NPP tradition of sponsoring awards largely for the purpose of receiving plaques and recognitions that create the impression of performance.
Anyway… what do I know?
NB : Disclaimer- I do not know the sponsors of this particular awards yet but what does it even mean ? Do they know the KPIs of each Minister ? What is Best Ministers Awards… ? Mtcwwww
There’s increasing misconduct in a government that proudly published a Code of Conduct for appointees as a significant milestone towards resetting governance. So far, the Code of Conduct has been useless. Rules and standards are only meaningful when they are consistently enforced and accompanied by clear consequences for violations.
The Chief of Staff may need to organize a few more crying sessions to reverse this trend.
Qatar has held a World Cup where everyone who could afford to attend attended, wait till it's the USA hosting and they will have visa restrictions even on the players themselves 😂.
**SHOCKING!** Eleven years after Accra’s deadly June 3 disaster, the SAME preventable nightmares—clogged gutters, garbage-blocked drains, illegal buildings on waterways, and zero enforcement—are STILL drowning the city in 2026! How is this even possible?!
