@missradders Thanks - I live in the uk so I get to ‘enjoy’ Brexit and the Tories and watch Aus fall for the same bunch of liars! At least we have maths!
@Tom_Richmond A bit shocked to find my school here, but a bit of checking reveals that the figure for 2019 is for 9-8 but the 2021 percentage is for 9-7. Actual increase in 9-8 is <10%. I wonder if this ‘mistake’ is repeated.
Just collected son’s glasses from @Specsavers - not quite sure what the leaflet is trying to say… algebra is silly? Or that it sets you up for life? Very unclear. Why is maths always “hard”? Asked staff to tell head office and met likeminded astrophysicist @chaosclaire …
@missradders Agree completely. Asking questions they haven’t studied is a data gathering exercise and shouldn’t be part of an assessment of how they’ve understood what they’ve been learning. Try to judge their level according to how they are working.
@RyanSneddon12@NMFCOfficial Great effort @RyanSneddon12 I’m also in UK but went the easy option. Had that ‘Schrodinger’s football match’ moment where we’ve both won and lost until I turn my phone on. Go Roos!
@sumsgenius Great timing on the retirement! We’re all well, pushing the bandwidth as far as it can go with three on live lessons at once. Gavin W made my job so much easier today...not! Best to you and Y.
@Just_Maths@missradders This is what many of my department have been doing. Export as pdf, download to Notability. Also, notes can be uploaded to Classroom (or whatever) in seconds after the lesson. Stylus is the key - very difficult without.
Do you suffer from having to organise and analyse a set of numbers? Then Spreadsheets may be for you!
Written by me, performed by @mmaarrow, edited by @mralexgb. It's from the middle of my latest @YouTube video but is too good to hide away.
@missradders Half of yr 12 in next week doing their normal timetable while simultaneously zooming to those at home. Following week half of year 10. Then the other halves after that.
@PrimroseUK@DianeGsp Increased CS team by 50%? Does that mean you went from 2 to 3? You could get a job working for the government with cloudy figures like that!
@primroseuk we are still waiting for plants ordered early April following message that they had been dispatched weeks ago. No reply on phone or on email from you. Please tell us what’s going on?
