Kim Jong Un and Moon Jae-in smile and hug after announcing that North and South Korea will formally end the Korean War later this year https://t.co/YKepJhJ2uB
It is so amazing to see people work towards peace. Congratulations #NorthKoreaAndSouthKorea for the historical agreement made. Praying more countries will find a way to end fights against each other and spread love only. ❤️
Dear @Dhiraagu.
You have just become part of the problem. Huge part. Do u realize u just set a dangerous precedent?!
My disappointment as a customer is inexplicable. 😢
It’s concerning, but unsurprising, to learn Prez Yameen is again breaking UN sanctions, this time with North Korea. He’s getting Maldives flagged ships to transfer cargo to North Korean ships on the high seas. In 1990s, Prez Yameen did the same with Burmese junta.
Each time you’re tempted to give up, think of how far you’ve come. Everything you’ve been through; the times you thought you couldn’t make it but did; the mornings you couldn’t get out of bed but pushed yourself anyway. Always seek your strength from the Almighty. You’ll be ok!
ALSO am i the only one who finds it inconceivable that every public office and school and everything else is currently working like there is no #StateOfEmergency in Maldives? How is the country operating??? How??? 🧐🤨🤯😱 #MaldivesInCrisis#MaldivesEmergency
The right to freedom of opinion and expression is not only critical in promoting equitable participation; the fundamental ethic of democracy, but also a universal right every individual is accorded. (Article 19 : UN Universal Declaration of Human rights) 2/2
We condemn,in the strongest possible terms, the violent assaults on reporters by the state enforcers. We call for an end to the ceaseless dismissal of the fundamental rights to opinion and expression and for the government to stop neglecting their vows to protect its citizens. 1/2
