Congratulations to Lorne Doerksen @LDoerkson on becoming the next Premier of British Columbia.

Alberta and British Columbia share strong economic ties and common interests, from trade and energy to transportation and economic growth. I look forward to working with Premier designate Doerksen on shared priorities and advancing the interests of people in both provinces, including unleashing Canada’s potential as an energy superpower.

I also want to acknowledge David Eby @Dave_Eby for his service as Premier. While we did not always see eye to eye, I appreciated the opportunity to work together on issues important to both provinces.
