DISC TO DIGITAL ES OFICIALMENTE ANUNCIADO. 🔥🔥🔥

El sistema, conocido internamente como “Positron” llega este LUNES para Insiders y permitirá insertar un juego físico compatible en Xbox One o Series X y canjear también una licencia digital.

▫️Una vez activada, ya no necesitarás el disco para jugar.
▫️La copia digital tendrá los mismos beneficios habituales, incluyendo Xbox Play Anywhere, PC, Xbox Ally y Cloud Gaming cuando el juego sea compatible.
▫️También funcionará con el uso compartido de consola/familia.
▫️Si vendes o regalas el disco, la licencia digital se transferirá al nuevo propietario cuando este lo registre, desapareciendo de tu cuenta.
▫️El programa arrancará con “miles” de juegos, aunque algunos discos antiguos podrían no ser compatibles.

Mañana comienza la iniciativa #PSBlackout (apagón), que propone no jugar ni iniciar sesión con tu PS durante 1 semana, como protesta al fin del formato físico.

Si estás jugando a algo que no requiere conexión, también puedes únicamente desconectar tu PS de la red.

The goal isn’t to hurt developers. It’s to send Sony a clear message:

Gamers still want the choice to own their games.
