#OTD 20 years ago the predecessor to the F-35, the X-35A, took its first flight as part of the Joint Strike Fighter competition.
Today, more than 570 F-35s are flying at 26 bases across nine nations.
Weight on Wheels
Denmark’s first #F35 recently headed to final assembly in our Fort Worth, Texas F-35 production facility, where its control surfaces will be added, along with final systems and engine installation.
Delivery of @forsvaretdk’s first F-35 is expected early 2021.
