A Message from The Mayor @F3Suncoast
When I moved to Florida in 2023, my sons Wayne and Brian encouraged me to try F3, a free, peer-led outdoor fitness program for men. F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith and is built on five core principles: always free, open to all men, always outdoors, peer-led, and ending each workout with a Circle of Trust where men support one another and share life together.
I arrived at my first workout as a 74-year-old, overweight, out-of-shape man surrounded by younger participants. I was nervous, but from day one I was welcomed with open arms. F3 gave me the nickname "The Mayor" because of my previous service as Mayor of Texarkana, Arkansas.
One of the things I appreciated most was hearing, "Modify if you need to." F3 meets men where they are while encouraging them to grow. Another guiding principle is, "Leave no man behind, but leave no man where he was." More than once, when I struggled to keep up, the group circled back to encourage me forward.
Over the past four years, I have lost 30 pounds, improved my fitness, and built meaningful friendships. In 2026, at age 77, I stepped into leadership by serving as the workout leader, known as the "Q." The support I received from other men, including those who ran miles to celebrate my first and second opportunities to lead, perfectly demonstrated the fellowship that makes F3 special.
Today, I am the only man over 70 regularly participating in our local F3 group. Yet I have never felt out of place. These men—many young enough to be my sons or grandsons—have welcomed, encouraged, and challenged me every step of the way.
I would encourage any man, regardless of age or fitness level, to give F3 a try. Few organizations bring together men across multiple generations to improve their health, build friendships, and become better leaders in their families and communities. F3 has certainly done that for me.

Ep 62 | You're Not Over-Planning. You're Afraid to Execute.
"A medium-ish plan, violently executed, beats a perfect plan tepidly performed every single time." - @dreddcnc
You've read the books. Built the frameworks. Refined the system. And you still haven't moved.
That's not preparation. That's fear wearing a productive disguise.

🚨 F3 IN THE NEWS!!! 🚨
This. Thank you, Horizon West
They didn't write about burpees. They didn't write about cinder blocks. They didn't write about how many miles the men ran. They wrote about what matters.
✅ Men’s Purpose
✅ Men’s Community
✅ Men’s Mental Health
✅ Men’s Leadership
All from a group of men showing up for one another before the sun comes up.
A special thank you to Horizon West Happenings for taking the time to tell the story of the men of F3 Horizon Heat and shine a light on the positive impact that happens when men come together in the spirit of Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith.
Because while the workout may be what brings a man out for the first time, it's the relationships, accountability, and shared purpose that keep him coming back.
That's how we change men and how men change communities. Together.
Love ya’ll.

4 PAX mosey down to the racetrack for the 0.5 mile loop and some EMOM.
Super humid this morning. Even split on DET and SP.
Deliverance was floated as a name for the AO. Piggie Park -> Get to Squealin -> Sawhorse asked which movie, Squeal like a pig, was from -> Deliverance.
The flag has been passed! ➡️🇺🇸. Perfect morning at Halleck national park to share some miles with these 26 HIM. Best wishes to Red Ranger on what is sure to be a great year. @F3Omaha@F3SarpySwagger
The leadership torch @F3TheCrown has officially been passed!
Thank you Pacesetter for your leadership and catering to all paces.
Thank you Red Ranger for accepting the 🇺🇸 and for setting a great example of consistency

Most folks know him as Axel. In the early morning hours, we call him Demogorgon.
But when you’ve earned the right to walk that stage…
you get to be both.
We’re proud to call you brother. Congratulations, Demogorgon. 👊 @F3SouthFork

The status quo is a danger to men because it leads a man to believe everything is “ok”, when really it is in a state of decay so slow as to be nearly imperceptible.
To have impact, a man must disrupt the status quo and, by so doing, become a menace to the establishment.
@F3Nation
What’s up F3 Nation? Camo back with you for another Leadership Minute.
Been reflecting on “Get Right.” Hopefully you recognize Get Right as the first quadrant of leadership. It’s followed by Live Right, Lead Right, and Leave Right.
A lot of times we think of those like a straight line — like once you move on to the next quadrant, you never go back. But the truth is… leadership development is a cycle.
Life happens.
Sickness. Injury. Job changes. Stress. Family challenges. Sometimes we look up and realize we’ve drifted. Maybe we’ve lost consistency with the King and the daily red pill. Maybe discipline with the Queen has slipped and we’ve put on weight or lost focus.
It happens to everybody.
And when it does, the answer isn’t shame or judgment. The answer is action.
Sometimes we have to cycle back and Get Right again so we can accelerate back into Living Right and Leading Right.
If this message is hitting you today, bro, just know this: I’ve been there. Thousands of men have been there.
Just don’t stay there.
Make the decision to Get Right again so you can continue to live, lead, and impact the mission we’re on together through.
Have a great day, fellas.
F3 Nation, Power Clean coming at you again.
I just want to share what’s been on my mind and in my heart lately… what F3 really is.
F3 is a leadership organization wrapped in a workout with a huge side of fellowship. But at its core, it’s not about me. It’s not about most of the guys watching this right now.
It’s about the next man.
We can change the world… but we can’t change the world by ourselves.
That’s why we need men. We need more men to understand the mission of F3 and experience what this thing can do in their lives. And that’s your job. Your job is to go out and evangelize for F3.
Because we know we’re better because of this. And we know they’ll be better too.
Open to all men. That means you. And it means the guy you haven’t asked yet.
Love you men. And there’s nothing you can do about it.
