What should have been a time for family to comfort their loved ones became a cruel isolation enforced by government overreach. I had to force my way in—daring them to arrest me—just to spend 42 precious minutes with my father before he passed.
Now Roy Cooper wants to represent North Carolina in the United States Senate.
