@KenyaAirways I have paid USD45 for extra leg room from Lubumbashi to Nairobi via Ndola, Zambia. I was allocated an emergency exit seat. Before take off I was assigned some evacuation duties in case of emergency. Am I not the one who should be paid.
@KenyanSays Only 11% of Kenya 580+K sqkm is arable land 40% of that is owned by a few individuals who have planted trees. If they cannot grow food, surely they should pay land rates for it. Or lease the land. Food security is a must for a healthy nation. The law should be capped to idle land
I am thinking really hard how we will hit even 3 million tourist arrivals, let alone 5 million, when we give rights to Mombasa half-heartedly.
Turkish Airlines were finally allowed but only 3 flights a week, and each flight is capped at 150 pax total per week 450 pax. How do we come up with such numbers ? Surely, this is a long-haul destination
South Africa, on the other hand, who also have a national carrier to help have allowed Emirates:
✅️3 daily flights into Joburg
✅️2 daily flights into Cape Town
✅️1 daily into Durban
Weekly Emirates alone into SA 42 flights and guess what all wide bodied 300+ passengers per flight .
Israel has 15 flights to Dubai daily. 5 by national carrier El Al , 9 between Emirates & Fly Dubai
On the other hand, Dubai has allowed 6th daily flight by Turkish, which means 42 flights into Dubai per week.
Then I have always been asked why our numbers are down. Kenya can be a serious hub, but we are simply refusing to join the big league. Choosing to play small but claim to be big.
Trust me, it can get tiring, and optimism needs a serious boost.
Your excellency @WilliamsRuto your policy makers are wrong on this , at least, I have said it. The 5 million international visitors per year by 2027 will remain a mirage .
@Ndighila_006 @amerix At some time, the covering of the seed is separated from the seed so that growth, rebirth for more seeds can happen. The shoot from the seed looks back at the seed covering with shock, remembering the warmth that felt like eternity,But it must heed the calling from sunshine.
@amerix I don't agree with most of the stuff that @WilliamsRuto does, but scriptures say we should pray for our leaders, not abuse them in public. How does this 'Prophet' live with all this bile?
