Before Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal qualified in ONLY THREE World Cups in their entire history.
With Cristiano Ronaldo, they've made 6/6 World Cups & never missed an major International Tournament - winning 3 trophies in the process (they had 0 before).
In the end, on his last legs - at 41 yo, he gets an arrogant team around him that plays the worst football you can imagine.
Cristiano put Portugal on the map, Cristiano made Portugal to be considered amongst the best, and yet he was repaid in this way on his last dance.
History will be kind to you Cristiano. As you said, with or without this match you remain Cristiano.
And certainly, life without you will not be the best for Portugal.
Then they will wish they had someone like Cristiano, but it will be too late - Cristiano won't be there anymore.
Thank you for everything. GOAT! 🐐
The dance is over. The last dance. It may also have been the last time we saw him wear the Seleção das Quinas shirt. What a legendary journey. Thank you, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. ❤️
Thank you for the response. Since I spoke in Bahasa Indonesia, my local language, in the video, let me briefly explain the wishlist in English.
The main issue with Career Mode is not that it lacks individual features. The bigger issue is that the features do not connect with each other enough to create a believable football world.
The focus should be on building stronger relationships between systems. Club vision should affect recruitment. Recruitment should affect the squad planner. The squad planner should affect youth development. Medical information should affect training. Training should affect tactics. Tactics should affect match performance. Match performance should create data, morale changes, contract problems, transfer interest, and board reactions.
In other words, Career Mode needs consequences.
This would make every Career Mode save feel more unique. Even clubs from the same league or country should not all play or operate the same way. One club may focus on academy players, another may prioritize experienced signings, another may need to sell players for profit, and another may demand immediate trophies.
For example, if I manage a club that wants to build around young academy players, that should change how the board judges me, how the squad planner works, and how youth players are given a real pathway through U18, U21, loans, and finally the first team.
If my team plays high pressing football, the medical and training systems should matter more. Players should become tired, injury risk should increase, and I should have to rotate or adjust my tactics. That would make match preparation feel meaningful.
If a player performs well, struggles, gets ignored, or breaks into the team, that should affect morale, contracts, transfer interest, and squad dynamics. A young player should ask for minutes. A senior player should react if his role changes. A club should not feel static.
The goal is not to turn FC into Football Manager completely.
FC already has something Football Manager does not, playable football.
But Career Mode would become much deeper if the off-pitch systems actually influenced the on-pitch experience and vice versa.

Luka Modrić 🤍
Q: "Bagaimana rasanya bermain melawan Luka Modrić, yang kemungkinan menjalani Piala Dunia terakhirnya?"
Cristiano Ronaldo: “Rasanya luar biasa.
[via @FOXSoccer]
