The value of peace is immeasurable. Therefore, we support only those who work to strengthen Bosnia and Herzegovina - not those who work to disintegrate & weaken it. We will not allow an erosion of the security situation. @ABaerbock in a press conference with @BiseraTurkovic 1/2
29th February 1996 - The longest siege in modern day history ended in Sarajevo.
44 months, 11,500 civilians killed, 1601 were children.

"The situation in #BosniaHerzegovina is worrying, efforts to secede are unacceptable. For me, this means that the existing sanctions regime should now also be used against Mr Dodik." - Foreign Minister @ABaerbock after today's Foreign Affairs Council. #FAC
The award European Film 2021 goes to QUO VADIS, AIDA?, directed by Jasmila Žbanić, produced by Damir Ibrahimović and Jasmila Žbanić. #europeanfilmawards
It is incomprehensible that the President of Germany decorates the denier of the genocide in #Srebrenica! A person who participated in the systemic denial and glorification of #Genocide ruled by international courts does not deserve the recognition of #Germany@HolocaustMuseum
For anyone catching up on their Oscars viewing this weekend, I'd recommend "Quo Vadis, Aida." Telling the story of the Srebrenica massacre through one woman's race to save her family, it's an unsparing look at how genocidal violence happens. https://t.co/McUpggcmPd
The Bosnian War officially started on 6 April 1992. It lasted until 14 December 1995. The Bosnian War claimed almost 101,000 lives, most of them Bosniaks. In addition, Serbian forces committed the first genocide in Europe since the end of the Second World War. Never again!
Senad Beganović was only 14 years old when he was killed and his remains were pieced together from parts discovered in FOUR MASS GRAVES.

On #Hannukah read the amazing story of the #SarajevoHaggadah and how it survived hundreds of years of safekeeping, travel, and smuggling.
