@mercsogyny In quali I guess you could make the argument the Ferrari was the fastest, but it had abysmal race pace as it chewed thru tires after 5 laps in most cases. The Merc in 2019 was always the superior race car
@usernamethirdy@rxnze Add to that, the fact TRB even approved CCLEX's petition to allow them shows that they've done their research and proven Cebu riders are capable of such a privilledge. If disciplinado naman na talaga mga riders, edi matagal na sana nalift ung ban on other expy's.
@usernamethirdy@rxnze Mostly naman kasi mga kamote na rider talaga is sa Luzon eh, Metro Manila especially. The fact na inallow ng MPTC and TRB ang motor sa CCLEX proves that they have confidence in riders from Cebu to display proper discipline fit for Expressways.
@usernamethirdy@rxnze I'd like to disagree, 8/10 motorcycle riders I've encountered have been nothing short of a mess. Singit dun singit dyan, tas pag nasagian ka "Pasensya po" ๐
@usernamethirdy@rxnze I think it's more down to
-Mas disiplined mga motorcylists sa Cebu hence kampante MPTC;
-Motorcycles in Cebu make up more of the road demand.
Pero yes, if tricycle drivers and motorcyclists become more disciplined, then maybe lawmakers + road users would support allowing them
@rxnze Not allowing them on expressways isn't anti-poor. It's literally saving them from potential danger. If a car/bus/truck crashes at 80-100km/h likely survive.. if a Tricycle gets hit at that speed? It will mean certain death for driver and passenger. Think about that.
@rxnze Safety is something every vehicle must have. Kasi its what will decide if you will die or get to see your family. The fact you think vehicle safety is for us "privileged" folk shows me you lack awareness when it comes to vehicles.
@rxnze Certain types of roads po sir have different demands. Masyado nyo po ginegeneralize ang "roads". There are places where a tricycle is more than capable of taking safely, an expressway is not one of them.
@rxnze Isipin mo nalang, kung sa mga national highways, malaking sakit ng ulo na sila for other motorists. Paano pa pag sa mga expressways? I assume you don't have any road knowledge, hence your lack of understanding and delusion that everything in this country is anti-poor.
@rxnze Well frankly, our "major" transportation vehicles are literally incapable of being in such environments. Tricyles are already such a headache for motorists in regular roads. They're also insanely unsafe, so your vision of allowing such vehicles on expressways is deluded.
