A new star is rising in The Gambia’s entrepreneurial scene, and her name is Fatoumatta Manneh. The founder of Sparkle Fresh, a vibrant liquid soap business, is making waves at the GCCI Trade Fair, showcasing her products for the first time at Stall 54.
Launched in November 2024, Sparkle Fresh was born from Fatoumatta’s passion for hygiene and her dream of self-employment. After completing an online masterclass, she transformed her vision into reality, creating a line of liquid soaps that promise cleanliness with a touch of Gambian pride. “Starting this business was about more than soap—it was about building something meaningful for myself and my community,” she shared.
At the trade fair, Fatoumatta’s enthusiasm is infectious. “This experience is exciting and encouraging,” she said, her eyes sparkling with ambition. Brimming with colorful bottles of Sparkle Fresh, her stall has drawn curious visitors eager to support a homegrown brand. For Fatoumatta, this is just the beginning. She dreams of expanding her business and bringing her soaps to households across The Gambia and beyond.
The GCCI Trade Fair offers a golden opportunity to discover Sparkle Fresh and support a local entrepreneur with big dreams.
