Any talk of repairing multiculturalism is for the birds. Having grown up in Bradford, you'll have a hard time persuading me it ever worked in the first place. The grooming epidemic tells you most of what you need to know. But back then, we had a mostly homogenous society, and a manageable number of ethnic minorities, at a level where they might have integrated had immigration been managed.

But not since we flung open the borders and allowed in the dregs of the third world who can't be integrated into anything - especially when they're categorically not wanted. There is no useful place in our society for low IQ South Asians and Africans with marginal language skills. All they bring is their own ethnic strife and backward customs.

There may be Londoners who have a different perception of multiculturalism, having grown up in "vibrant" parts of the city, but that's back when native Britons were still the prevailing authority. There was an order of things. Our order. But now that order is diluted and disintegrating, with the police hamstrung by notions of diversity and cultural sensitivity.

Now, you go into London and natives are nowhere to be seen, and third world imports haven't even mastered the basics of civilisation like queuing for a bus. Third worldism has displaced civilisation, and anybody who has the means to move away from it does so. No native Briton wants their own kids to be an ethnic minority in their school. It's not so much the great replacement as the great displacement. Everyone wants to escape the crime, squalor and disorder that third worlders bring with them. They migrate here to enjoy what is abolished by their presence.

Meanwhile, it is impressed upon us with menaces that we're supposed to passively accept this invasion without comment or complaint, as we're forced to compete for housing, healthcare and employment in our own homeland. All the while, our high trust society evaporates and our communities disperse.

The whole time the missing element of multiculturalism was our consent. It wasn't given in the first place, and our tolerance up to now has proven to be a catastrophic error. But not one we are obliged to endure. It can be reversed, and one way or another it will be. It will either be done peacefully and humanely, or the regime will continue to inflict this misery on us and it will be done some other way. We're getting to the point where I don't care which, so long as it is done.

Not properly recognising liabilities is one of the two pathologies of every financial scandal. (The other is recognising revenue which never turns into cash flow).

When Rachel Reeves changed the headline debt target in October 2024, she did more than tweak an accounting rule.

By switching from measuring public sector net debt (PSND ex BoE) to public sector net financial liabilities (PSNFL), ministers created a channel to spend the same taxpayer money through Public Financial Institutions, or “PuFins”.

Debt is still debt but under Labour’s fiddled measure, spending via a PuFin barely registers against the fiscal rules.

As this excellent report from the Centre for Policy Studies shows, had the old target been kept, the October 2024 Budget would have broken the debt rule by £6 billion. Under the new one, it passed with £16 billion to spare.

Expect next week’s budget to include more examples of this dodge.

99% of women and girls in Somalia have been mutilated in the following way: the clitoris is cut off, along with the inner labia. Then the inner flesh of the outer labia is removed before both sides are sewn tightly together, leaving a hole no bigger than a matchstick for urine and menses to trickle through.

All of this is done in childhood, and without any form of anesthesia whatsoever. Sometimes the little girl is given a scrap of leather or a stick to bite down on. The cutters use old razor blades, or sometimes a piece of broken glass.

This is only the beginning of a girl’s pain.

Most wedding nights in Somalia are aided by “the little knife” — that is, the new husband slices his bride open so that he can penetrate her now cut and bleeding scar tissue. Some men, however, simply batter their way through, tearing that tiny hole open by sheer force. When a woman goes into labor, she’s cut open more widely, then sewn back up afterwards so that when sex resumes she will have to be cut open yet again.

This practice leads to countless deaths from infection and a drastic increase in maternal mortality, but Somali men still refuse to marry uncut women, forcing mothers to have their daughters cut or face social stigma. Uncut girls are seen as dirty; the term for clitoris is a playground taunt in Somalia, and girls who are not cut are usually ostracized by their peers.

The Somali government recently debated the legality of this appalling custom, and the parliament largely split along gender lines. Female MPs roundly condemned FGM, while male MPs insisted that having a clitoris made a woman more difficult to penetrate, and quoted the hadith in which Muhammad condoned the practice. These are educated men who nevertheless claim that cutting a girl is necessary in order to control her sexuality, and that an uncut woman will be promiscuous and untrustworthy.

In spite of the Somali government’s continued support for FGM, foreign aid continues to flow into Somalia unobstructed. The West should refuse to give the Somali government so much as a single dollar until they outlaw FGM and take positive steps to combat the problem.

One tactic that has been highly successful involves showing Somali men a video of a girl being mutilated. Because FGM is seen as women’s business, most men have no idea what it entails. Men who watch this video are horrified, and the most common reaction has been “Not my daughter!” This proves that FGM is not hopelessly entrenched in Somali culture. Western pressure and resources could make an enormous difference in the lives of Somali women and girls, and put a stop to this barbaric practice.

It speaks the native vocabulary, justice, equality, compassion, rights, progress. It uses these words and quietly changes what they point to.

Then it moves inward.

It alters how foundations are perceived. Responsibility is made to smell like cruelty, law like oppression, borders like hatred, tradition like danger, history like guilt.

At that point, the civilization turns on itself.

Its courts, universities, churches, media, and bureaucracies begin treating their own foundations as threats. They believe they are defending the system.

They are enforcing what now smells legitimate. They do not see the intruder because it sounds exactly like them.

And when the founding principles are finally removed, discredited, dismantled, erased, the foreign ideology does not need to conquer anything. It inherits what is left.

The queen is gone. The colony is no longer itself.

The most effective conquest is the one that convinces a society that its own foundations are the enemy, and that killing them is an act of virtue.
