Starting my build in public journey today 🥳
For years I built other people’s products. Now it’s time to build my own portfolio of agent-first apps.
First product is live: https://t.co/tBiGcSVK8z – grows your organic traffic on autopilot by getting your brand mentioned in AI search and Google.
Day one: $0 MRR, 100 followers. Sharing the whole journey here 🚀
@AlDev0 could be. what it cites instead is the tools themselves: semrush 630, ahrefs 466 + competitors sites directly in the last 30 days. it goes straight to the source
I tracked 7,884 AI answers in my market.
100 buyer questions across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews.
The most cited sources:
1. YouTube – 3,545
2. Reddit – 1,994
3. Semrush – 1,552 (i'm in SEO niche)
4. LinkedIn – 1,235
Time to get back on YouTube.
How does SaaS survive when everyone uses AI agents?
My bet: your agent becomes the brain, and SaaS becomes its hands and eyes.
Agents run all day now. But they only know what they can see, and they can only do what they're connected to.
Here's how I'm treating it with Sightkick, my SEO and AI search tool.
What agents can't do without the right hands and eyes:
- track 100 prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google every day
- see which brands AI recommends instead of your brand
- plan, schedule and publish articles
- know what makes an article rank and get cited
- tell if an article got more clicks because of your changes, or just luck
So Sightkick should feel like hiring an expert agent with a backbone:
- plug in your own agent and it runs everything
- or let ours run it
- watch it all in a dashboard, instead of a chat
The labs build the brain. I'm building the hands and eyes.
@AlDev0 reddit is mostly a google thing: 1,552 citations from google's ai in the last 30 days, 480 from gemini, 0 from chatgpt. youtube too, mostly from google's ai search (which makes sense)
Starting on LinkedIn this week, with 0 connections and 0 followers 😅
Honestly, I don't spend any time there myself. But the people who care about SEO and AI search do.
I was hesitant to get started, but now it's time to change those zeros.
Any LinkedIn tips?
