This message is quite clear for any discerning mind. We need to come together otherwise they will continue to serve us akara and bread for breakfast. Wake up Nigerians.
Majority of Nigerians who want good governance and good leadership are divided on how to attain this good ideas and ideals. Majority of Nigerian politicians too want to take over power and give Nigerians good governance, but they are not united in these goals and aspirations.
Today Nigerian politicians are more divided than ever before. Many of these politicians act spoiler roles in different political parties and there are no consequences. There is divided unity amongst Nigerian political parties that are in oppositions. Most members of these political parties that in opposition in Nigeria are sharply divided. While it is true that majority of Nigerians hate the kind of leadership in power today, the ability to unite to vote the government in power out of power is not there.
In the course of putting up this write up together, I came across a write up that captures the points I want to make here. It was so suncintly captured. It reads: "SAD BUT TRUE: Akara and Pap was breakfast served every morning in a hostel of 100 people. Out of the 100, 80 didn’t like it. They complained daily, saying they were tired and wanted something different. But the remaining 20 were satisfied. They liked it just as it was. To solve the issue, the warden introduced a simple rule: Every night, everyone would vote for what they wanted to eat the next morning. The meal with the highest number of votes would be served. So every night, the 20 who loved Akara and Pap voted for it—with one voice. But the 80 who didn’t like it were never united. Their votes went in different directions: 18 for Bread and Tea. 16 for Yam and Egg Sauce. 14 for Jollof Rice. 12 for Spaghetti. 10 for Indomie.10 for Moi Moi and Pap. Can you guess what the result was every single time?Akara and Pap kept winning, Not because it was the best, but because the people who didn’t want it were too divided to agree on anything else. In Nigeria, many are tired of the same old hardship, bad governance and recycled leadership. We know who and what the real problems are. But even those who want change are divided—along tribal lines, party names, personal interest, ego, ambition etc. 2027 might seem far away, but it's already around the corner. If we don’t learn from this story, we will wake up again to another bitter round of the same “meal” we’ve been served for ages. This Is a salient Message.THERE'S POWER IN UNITY, NOT JUST IN NUMBERS.A United Minority Is More Formidable Than A Divided Majority"
Even though the author of the above write up is unknown to me, the message in it is too powerful to ignore. Today in Nigeria majority of Nigerians are not united to fight our common enemy. Our common enemy in my view are poor and corrupt leadership in power, bad governance and almost complete breakdown of law and order in Nigeria.
We have lawlessness in the most unacceptable proportions in each of the three arms of government. Everyone in power is law unto himself or herself. No one to hold them accountable. Accountability in governance is zero. Political accountability rooted in political vengeance and vendatta is not accountability. Each time we focussed on mundane issues of sectionalism, tribalism, religious and partisan party loyalty instead of demanding accountability from our leaders.
Poverty and suffering is not of any ethic origin. There is porverty in the North, South, East and West. There is bad governance in almost all the 36 states of the Federation including FCT. The devaluation of Naira and lack of money for Nigerians to live good lives and secured society is not limited to any particular religion or tribe.
We all go to the market of porverty to purchase sorrow and suffering foisted on us by bad leadership and governance. Therefore as we approach 2027 selections and or elections, Nigerians must note that a divided majority will always suffer at the instance of united tiny minority who will do everything to remain in power in perpetuity. Just note this and be wise.
What Our Pervasive Insecurity Requires: A Holistic not Reactive Approach.
In a hasty effort to be perceived as attentive and courageous, it is reported that President Bola Tinubu has approved the recruitment of about 1000 forest guards for Oyo State. This is a further demonstration of poor leadership and attending to very serious governance and security issues with a reactive approach. It is the same reactive approach that led to the sudden removal of fuel subsidy and floating of the Naira that has caused irreparable damage to ordinary Nigerians and the economy.
While recruiting more security personnel for Oyo state and the country is important, it should be done in a more organised and well-thought-out manner. Presently, almost all the 36 states in Nigeria are experiencing different forms of insecurity, with Oyo, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Borno, Katsina, Anambra, Niger, Imo, and Sokoto being very alarming.
The question, such as the reactive approach of our President, is whether all the states will receive the same approval to recruit 1000 forest guards per state, that is 37, 000 forest guards for the 36 states and Abuja or is the recruitment approval based on the mood of the President? Moreover, with the approval for Oyo, what will happen to the Amotekun Corps that is trying its best to secure South-West Nigeria?. Will they be disbanded in Oyo state?
The pervasive insecurity we currently have is directly related to the failure of our ecosystem, particularly leadership. It is only failure in leadership that can lead to the death of over 10,000 innocent Nigerians since 2023, and Nigeria is ranked among the top-most terror-affected countries in the world.
Addressing our insecurity situation requires a holistic or what can be described as an ecosystem approach. With failure in leadership, there is failure in unifying our dear nation, failure in industrialisation, failure in harnessing our abundant resources in agriculture, minerals, tourism, water, sports and even oil and gas to effectively generate required revenue, growth and particularly jobs for our exponentially growing youth population.
A New and Productive Nigeria will be POssible, and we will be OK! -P0
IT WILL COST YOU ZERO NAIRA TO RETWEET THIS 🙏
Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s spokesperson, announced the sudden arrest of Ifechukwu Dennis as the originator of the fake AI voice note impersonating Tinubu.
He and authorities relied solely on a tech investigator’s video without contacting the investigator.
The investigator, Femi Unfiltered, has now publicly stated: Dennis is innocent.
He was not the creator, and authorities should have consulted him first.
This rushed arrest, with due process completely abandoned, is a clear case of ethnic profiling.
Dennis is Igbo.
In Nigeria, young Igbo men are too often presumed guilty before trial,
especially in politically sensitive matters.
Nigerian authorities and Presidency: Release Ifechukwu Dennis Now!.
#FreeIfechukwuDennis
The abduction of the Chibok girls in 2014 triggered a global movement. One school abduction was enough to unite Nigerians, attract international attention, and place enormous pressure on the government through the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.
Yet, what has happened since then should trouble every Nigerian.
Under President Buhari's eight years in office, Nigeria witnessed about ten school abductions. Under President Tinubu's administration, in just three years, we have already recorded over ten school abductions.
Despite these repeated tragedies, there has been neither sustained national outrage nor significant international attention comparable to what followed Chibok.
This raises an important question: have we become so accustomed to insecurity that what once shocked our national conscience is now treated as normal?
At a time when millions of Nigerians are grappling with insecurity, poverty, and hardship, it is deeply troubling that those in power appear more focused on political calculations and preparations for the next election than on addressing the urgent challenges confronting our people.
It is, therefore, no surprise that some observers have labelled us a "Now Disgraced Nation". While we do not agree with any attempt to define our great country by its present difficulties, we must acknowledge that persistent insecurity, economic hardship, and leadership failure have damaged our reputation and standing among nations.
The answer is not denial, propaganda, or political distraction. The answer is leadership that is competent, compassionate, accountable, and genuinely committed to the welfare and security of the Nigerian people.
The Nigerian youth must not become indifferent. We must all refuse to normalise failure.

"Peter Obi loves 'food is ready' politics."
Yet, no other politician can leave an established structure to contest under an unknown party
Peter Obi is the most daring politician in Africa
He is not afraid of taking up challenges
He is not scared of starting all over and has proven to be the life of every party he joins
Love him or hate him, no one can lace his shoes when it comes to politics
Respect him
Fear him
Expect him
Because you cannot wish him away.
1. Atiku Abubakar is broke (full stop).
2. He was financially decimated by Buhari, who wanted to ensure he would no longer have a large war chest to fund an election.
3. Buhari achieved this through Hadiza Usman, who frustrated Intels, a company co-owned by Atiku.
4. In 2021, Atiku sold his shares in Intels and used the money to run in the 2023 PDP primary election. Gov. Wike made sure Atiku spent big in PDP primaries by paying $30,000 per delegate.
5. Atiku who was fully extorted, needed a sitting governor to open his state treasury to co-fund his 2023 campaign, and Gov. Okowa came in handy.
6. Records show that Gov. Okowa borrowed N30,000,000,000 from three banks, Zenith Bank, UBA, and Access Bank. That was the money used for Atiku’s presidential campaign in 2023.
6b. EFCC records shows that Okowa could not show which project swallowed the last minute loan he took from 3 banks in 2022 using Delta state allocation as security.
7. Atiku’s remaining businesses, like America a university of Nigeria, Adama Beverage Limited, Gotel Communications, and Prodeco Nigeria Limited, cannot provide Atiku with the funds needed for the 2027 election, so he's looking for another “Okowa.” Sadly, that option is now limited.
8. Atiku has 25 voracious children waiting for food to be ready. Potential 25 Seyi Tinubu’s. Can Nigeria survive it? No!
9. Bottom line is: what we've seen Tinubu do will be child’s play compared to what Atiku will do if he becomes president.
10. A man who’s badly financially decimated and damaged, who has sold many assets and liquidated numerous businesses in his quest for the presidency, will first recover his investments before doing anything else.
11. If Tinubu, with Lagos treasury in his hands, is still hustling and scavenging the nation like a hungry vulture, imagine what Atiku will do.
12. Peter Obi remains Nigeria’s only real option. He's not broke. He's not hungry. He will not thief up your money.
13. This cannot be said about Atiku and Tinubu.
14. May God save us from Atiku and Tinubu.

CITY BOYS
These men have never been part of the masses and average Nigerians seeking a working government.
Their strong link to the government, Stanley Uzochukwu, has always worked for the government in power. He’s a presidential boy and works with every president in power.
Obi Cubana, E-Money and the rest are always government men in power who do businesses for them. There’s no difference between what they are doing now and what they have been doing.
If the masses want a new government in power that will care about their suffering and hardship, they can still pursue it; no single person in this group can stop the process. Not even Owerri Rick Ross can win his polling unit if Peter Obi is on the ballot. No be indomie and bag of rice will make people follow you sheepishly.
They’re entitled to their political business, and we shouldn’t allow it to form the centre of interest and motivation currently.
They’re doing their business and others should unite and do whatever they feel will benefit the common man in the streets of Nigeria.
I read the Prime Minister of Canada canceled his trip to Germany because there was a mass shooting in Canada that killed 10 people.
In Nigeria, 162 people died in Kwara State and your Shigidi in Aso Rock has not even made a speech about it till now.
Yet we are seeing some lun@tics saying 4+4 in 2027 for the imbe.
I haven’t slept through the night since Min. of a health Ali Pate revealed that only N36 million was released for capital projects for the health ministry last year.
N500 million was released to SA to the President on Media& Policy comms for ‘strategic global media engagement’

Citizens just told the Legislature what we need regarding the Electoral Act Reform, and you say 'No' you won't accent to it? Who the HELL do you guys think you are for God's sake.
Nigerians really need to understand what we are talking about.
Senate rejected 10 years ban on Vote Buyers. (This means Vote buying continues. No consequences on the buyer).
Senate rejected N5m fine and 2 years in jail for vote buyers. (No consequences for vote buying).
Senate rejected mandatory Real-Time Transmission of results. (This means Politicians can write any result and INEC can announce what they want).
Election Notice Period is now reduced from 360 days to 180 days. (This means that candidates have less time to prepare for election and everyone is scattered).
Nigerians need to understand. It’s important.
Young Nigerians, especially those born after 2000, let me tell you about a man named Japheth Omojuwa who is currently lecturing OBidients about their “irascibility.”
Omojuwa, the man who once tweeted he would “vote a dead pig over Jonathan and go home happy” is now lecturing OBidients on political decorum and “irascibility.”
The audacity is breathtaking.
Let’s talk about YOUR record. 🧵
In 2013, you called President Jonathan supporters “lowlives” for celebrating him ringing the NYSE bell.
In 2023, you praised Tinubu for ringing the NASDAQ bell, calling it “exciting for all Nigerians.”
Same action. Different standards. What changed?
In 2012, you were a “crucial part” of #OccupyNigeria, protesting fuel subsidy removal.
In 2016, you wrote an article defending Buhari’s fuel price hike, calling it a “global reality.”
Jonathan’s subsidy removal = corruption.
Buhari’s subsidy removal = economics.
The hypocrisy is documented.
You built your entire career on aggressive social media activism against a sitting government. You called Jonathan “worse than useless,” “extremely clueless,” and a “disaster.”
Now you condemn OBidients for criticizing this administration and the one you championed before it?
You are projecting and criticizing a reflection of your former self.
Let’s not forget 2021:
•Former Minister Ezekwesili petitioned the IGP to investigate you for FRAUD
•She accused you of registering her as a director of Alpha Reach WITHOUT her consent
•Your PR firm was exposed for running paid campaigns for a Venezuelan money launderer
This is your moral authority?
You’ve admitted you’re an APC member. You voted for them. You benefit from this government.
So when you offer “advice” to OBidients, you’re not a neutral observer. You’re a partisan operative doing what you’ve always done: attacking the opposition for personal gain.
Miss us with that BS…we see through your thin robes of hypocrisy.
The difference between you and OBidients:
It is a genuine grassroots movement fighting for a better Nigeria.
You are a documented political mercenary who shifts positions based on you know what.
Nigerians see through you. Your era of influence is over.
So no, Omojuwa, OBidients don’t need your advice.
OBidients and all well meaning Nigerians need to remember that the man lecturing them today is the same man who deleted his most toxic tweets, including one comparing a sitting president to a pig, and was accused of corporate fraud. He is in his element over there in APC.
Thankfully, the internet never forgets.
Your receipts are public. We remember.
Your advice to OBidients to “take a draw” is rich coming from someone who told Nigerians in 2015 that anyone who said they should have voted Jonathan “has earned a permanent shut up.”
Now you preach compromise to others? Take your own advice, maybe?
Here’s the thing though; Your true motivation is fear. Fear that your feeding trough will be upended by this movement.
Otherwise, take the advise of a wise man who once said “never interrupt your enemy if they’re making a mistake”. If we’re making a mess…let us, abi no be so?
Now…take a seat at the back please.
They all pretend as if they don't read anymore once a sound counter argument surfaces. Can you tell me that a man in such a position can be this shameless to spend energies on frivolities rather than focus on the welfare of citizens they claim to govern.
Mr Onanuga @aonanuga1956, your characterisation of @PeterObi as unprincipled for his political U-turns ignores a well-documented pattern of similar reversals within the current administration. Accountability in a democracy must be even-handed; if shifting positions is the standard for unreliability, then the history of the presidency and its communications team warrants equal scrutiny.
One of the most significant policy reversals is President Bola Tinubu’s position on fuel subsidy. In 2012, during the "Occupy Nigeria" protests, the President was a vocal opponent of the then-administration's plan to remove the petrol subsidy, describing it as an "unjust tax." However, upon his inauguration on 29 May 2023, he summarily declared, "subsidy is gone," leading to the pump price of petrol nearly tripling from approximately 185 Naira to over 500 Naira within days. This 180-degree shift from opposition leader to executive highlights a pragmatism that contradicts your framing of political "U-turns" as inherent flaws.
Your own professional history includes instances of correcting the record after public backlash. On 12 February 2023, you deleted a tweet that inaccurately suggested Peter Obi had accepted a land allocation while Governor of Anambra State. You later admitted the deletion was necessary because you "found another letter" confirming he had actually rejected the offer. Such instances demonstrate that even at the highest levels of official communication, "eating back" words or correcting inaccurate assertions is a recurring reality.
I'm sure you remember one Daniel Bwala @BwalaDaniel on the president's communication team, and how he called the then-candidate Bola Tinubu all sorts of unprintable names. How convenient is it for you to not remember that you are surrounded by people who fit the description in your narrative?
The gap between opposition rhetoric and executive action often has significant consequences for citizens, such as the 22.41% inflation rate recorded in May 2023 following the subsidy removal. Instead of focusing on the movement of opposition figures between parties, the public interest is better served by explaining why policies once condemned as "unjust" are now implemented as essential. Nigeria requires a consistent standard for political reliability that applies to both the government and the opposition.
This man is being used to exhaustion. Can you imagine someone in this state prospecting to go another tenure, to do what pls. God will not forgive everyone exploiting BAT for their selfish gains, and includes wife, son and close associates.
How this was possible keeps beating my imaginations till date. Nigeria is blessed with extra brilliant citizens, yet the intellectually poor rules. How?
I find nothing funny about a tottering old man, and I do hope that he is fine. But I am alarmed that the future of this dying country, has been left in the hands of a man as demonstrably incapacitated as the old codger in Turkey. It is NOT well..🇳🇬🤔
