This is the end of the world as we know it, if this is reproducible! The new era of functional modeling has begun. I took a transcription factor with an unknown structure and folded it with its recognition sequence embedded in longer DNA. AlphaFold3 accurately positioned the transcription factor.

If nothing bad is happening to you now, wait a bit and it will. That is just reality. My approach to life is that it is what it is and the important thing is for me to figure out what to do about it and not spend time moaning about how I wish it were different. Winston Churchill hit the nail on the head when he said, "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." You will come to enjoy this process of careening between success and failure because it will determine your trajectory.
It makes no sense to get frustrated when there's so much that you can do, and when life offers so many things to savor. Your path through any problem is outlined in these principles--and in others you'll discover yourself. There's nothing you can't accomplish if you think creatively and have the character to do the difficult things. #principleoftheday

@nntaleb Switzerland produces art of adaptation to an hostile environment. Itโs accessible to everyone and they have bunkers for 9mln people. In Italy, great artists produced art in response to the will of Lords.
And by the way, Switzerland has CERN, which requires lot of creativity.
You're under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously.

I believe that the reason people typically miss the big moments of evolution coming at them in life is that we each experience only tiny pieces of whatโs happening. (1/3)
Something I explained to my 12 yo son: Any idea that hasn't been implemented yet is probably at least somewhat mistaken. That's one reason, though not the main one, that there is no market for ideas.
