From the trailer introduction it seems like the fan are still there.

I think the cartoon is just one of "we hate fan on yesteryear male heroes" coffin nail. Indy and luke are the others.

I watch twice for that 2 but i understand if some heard few of the bad and choose to skip it.

I think its of the fact that in the cartoon MaArm is a red head (from moustache color) and its the erasure of red head in hollywood from source material. I think there is a meme on it.

So its an erasure of minorities since red hair is 1-2% of population.

But that 20% is like hit song on CD with filler. Totally worth it just for that 20% to buy the CD.

Idris Elba (?) is awesome in it and the race swap is least of the film worries.

If you a fan you should watch it once.
