What happened:

→ Paul Dumaitre (Cursor Field Engineer) walked us through Cloud Agents, parallel builds, and the AI Maturity Curve for Eng Orgs at scale

→ Tim P. (Software Engineer, Alan) gave a deep dive on building Hopper, Alan's AI health companion - from "life before Hopper" to shipping it with their engineering team

→ Micha Hernandez van Leuffen (Founder & CEO, Fiberplane) on what they learned turning agent work into an unsupervised software factory

→ And then: 2 hours of pizza, drinks, and the kind of conversations that only happen when you put 80 builders in the same room on a Thursday night

This is what Cursor community in Europe looks like. Real talks. Real workflows. Real people sharing what actually works (and what doesn't).

From self-taught coder to @cursor_ai Regional Lead for Europe 🇪🇺

3 months ago, I ran my first Cursor meetup in Paris. 400+ people registered. The energy was electric.

How we got here:
→ 2023: left my private equity job and taught myself to code in 2 months
→ 2024: shipped like a madman inspired by @marclou
→ 2025: built a finance community, ran competitions and meetups
→ Dec-25: slid into @benln's DMs on X
→ Jan-26: became Cursor Ambassador
→ Feb-26: Café Cursor Paris (logistics humble you faster than any LBO model)
→ Mar-26: march meetup at Orus where @fr4nnyp4ck dropped a banger of a talk.
→ Apr-26: sponsored the HEC MBA Hackathon
→ Apr-26: met the team IRL in Paris
→ And here we are 🤝

Not slowing down:
→ May-26: May Paris Meetup at @avec_alan HQ w/ @byronlove111. Live Q&A with a Cursor engineer, killer talks,🍕pizza & drinks. Spots are disappearing fast.
→ Jun-26: Another BIG one is dropping. Stay tuned 🔥.

Now the mission scales up: More cities, more formats, more ambitious partners, more mind-blowing events… and probably a lot less sleep. 😅
