The world does not reward silence.
People with half your skill will go further if they have the audacity to show up and speak up.
Your self-worth sets the tone for how others treat you. If you don’t see your own value, no one else will.
i think the love of your life will soften and leave you with such a sense of tenderness and you shouldn’t settle until you find the person that brings that out of you.
Kumnandi esontweni Oe. Found friends that have turned to family. Ngazitholela umyeni🥺. Also for those few hours at church, everything seems okay you know. My mind is at peace
Been together for 8 years, married for almost 4 and somehow, marriage feels easier than our long-distance days.
We share a love for reading, taking trips to the bookstore, spending time indoors (introvert heaven), binge watching our favorite shows together and taking interest in each other’s hobbies/goals.
Over the years, we have built a routine where being together feels effortless, yet there’s still space to enjoy our own things.
One of my favorite things about being loved genuinely is being fully yourself, doing nothing extraordinary and still being adored. That’s why all these lessons on ‘femininity’ or how to be ‘divine’ make no sense. Real love has never required me to perform, just simply exist.
