@pangoweb@the_culturist_ She was babbling about that recently. Specifically through the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s quest for that very same thing.
@junkgourmet@the_culturist_ I’m glad you were able to pick up on that subtle nod. She may not even be 2 yet, but her mastery of Impressionism is quite advanced.
@5solas@dgh5391 Right. “The Abrahamic covenant to his children.” All his children? Someone forgot to tell Ishmael. Isaac was the only one of his many children who recieved that covenantal promise.
@MiddleearthMixr They likely only pivoted after all the backlash. If it had been the original reveal, it would have at least had a chance. Now if we can get them to pivot on the Grand Elf….
@Andrewnsnyder As you said, he’s a fan. There’s potential, for sure. I’m just not sure why they wouldn’t make a film about the War in the North or any number of other topics already in the canon rather than create a fictional story about Eleanor with extended flashbacks.
@Andrewnsnyder It has the potential to work ONLY if Colbert leaves his priors at the door and actually writes a faithful script. He is damaged goods politically and will alienate a lot of folks if he tries to incorporate modern political ideologies. There’s a great team working on it, though.
@Pastor_Gabe@JoshHoller It’s hard to argue with Raiders-established the character for us. But The Last Crusade was able to give us great interplay with Connery and many great moments. The Last Crusade may be the best third film in a trilogy ever.
@TheXclusiveAce Sadly, this is likely caused by beta data compared to BF6. So now they are trying everything in their power to keep their player base. Including all the things we’ve been asking for over the past several years.
@Andrewnsnyder Very interesting! The open world game premise and theology is one that I’ve thought about recently in relation to Minecraft. My friend postulated an essay about Minecraft and the Creation Mandate. The whole purpose of the game is to have dominion and create (Imago Dei).
