The thing I’m most curious about in Doomsday isn’t even the heroes.

It’s the villains.

I don’t want another villain who exists just to stand in front of the heroes and get punched for two hours.

I want the kind of villain who walks into the story and makes everyone uncomfortable because, for a moment, you understand why they think they’re right.

That’s when a villain becomes dangerous.

If I can predict everything they’re going to say and do, I’m probably going to forget them the moment the movie ends.

But give me a villain with an actual belief system. Someone who thinks the heroes are the problem. Someone whose plan is horrifying, but whose reasoning is just convincing enough to make me question who I’m supposed to be rooting for.

That’s the energy I want from Doomsday.

Don’t just give me a bigger threat. Give me a smarter one.

The Horrifying Murder-Suicide Floating Around Hogwarts Every Single Day

From the very first feast in Sorcerer's Stone, two Hogwarts house ghosts blend into the background like quirky school mascots:

The Grey Lady (Ravenclaw’s quiet ghost) and The Bloody Baron (Slytherin’s terrifying, chain-rattling specter covered in silver bloodstains).

For seven books, students walk past them every day between classes.

Hardly anyone ever stopped to ask why the Bloody Baron is drenched in blood, or why the Grey Lady never speaks to him.

The backstory revealed in Deathly Hallows is a literal medieval murder-suicide. 💀

A thousand years ago, the Grey Lady was Helena Ravenclaw, daughter of Hogwarts founder Rowena Ravenclaw. Helena grew so jealous of her mother’s intellect that she stole the enchanted Diadem and fled to a forest in Albania.

When Rowena fell fatally ill, she wanted to see her daughter one last time and dispatched a nobleman who had long been obsessed with Helena to track her down.

That man was the Baron.

When the Baron finally found Helena hiding in Albania, she refused to return with him.

Furious that she rejected his romantic advances and commands, the Baron flew into a blind rage and stabbed Helena straight through the chest with his dagger.

The moment he saw her dead on the forest floor, horror and grief shattered him. In sheer remorse for murdering the woman he loved, the Baron turned the very same blade on himself and took his own life.

Now, both are forced to haunt the same stone castle for eternity:

Helena wanders the corridors as an aloof ghost, forever trapped with her killer.

And the Bloody Baron wears heavy clanking chains of penance, forever coated in the ghostly blood of the founder's daughter he slaughtered in cold blood. 🩸

The real upgrade to Iron Man wasn't more weapons.
It was making the armor adaptable enough to become whatever the situation demanded.
Shield when he needed defense. Blades when he needed offense. Thrusters when he needed speed.
The suit stopped being a fixed piece of equipment and started behaving like a system.
