This little boy was shaking and crying, desperately wanting to know if his atheist Dad who had past away is in heaven.
The response from the @Pontifex was beautiful and heartfelt.
PLEASE I WANT SOMEONE TO MAKE THIS, MAKE SENSE TO ME.
In 2021, Nigeria imported over $590million worth of palm oil. In 2022, Nigeria imported $370 million palm oil. Nigeria imports much of its palm oil from Malaysia.
The estimated annual consumption in Nigeria is 2.4 million tons, with a per capita consumption of 12.5 kg per person (very low), against a global average of 20 kg.
Nigeria faces a deficit of 1.6 million metric tons in palm oil production compared to consumption.
To cover this 1.6million metric tons deficit in domestic palm oil production, will require the cultivation of brand new 530,000 hectares of the High Yield Variety Palm trees across the Southern Palm Belt in Nigeria.
This will require the planting of over 85million new palm trees and establishment of over 600 cottage palm value chain processing factories
It is instructive to note that the current global palm oil value chain market size is over $80billion; and that as at 1965, Nigeria used to control over 45% of this red gold commodity global market supply chain
We have devised a very creative Missions, Communities, Diaspora, Private, Public Partnership (MCDPPP) Projects design, execution and delivery framework to bridge this huge domestic supply gap
We,at South East Farms and Agricultural Processing Company Limited have developed clusters of HYV palm nursery orchards across key locations in the South East, South South and South West Regions.
We want to use this medium to call upon High Networth Individuals, Missions. Community/Town Unions, Diasporans,Governments and MDAs, at all levels to come and partner with us to cover this gap
We have assembled a team of dedicated agronomists, experts, technology and funding delivery transmission mechanism to make this work
All we ask is for you to donate your land, under a special purpose investment vehicle delivery arrangement .
SEFAPCOL will partner with you to clear the land [provide the mechanised and tech support], prepare it and plant the various biological assets like the palm tree, cocoa and moringa olifera . \
To prevent adulteration and ensure excellence, SEFAPCOL shall supply all the identified HYV bearer biological assets and trees to be planted under a vendor financing arrangement ( take and pay later)
This unique project execution and delivery framework, will help us to create over 500,000 hectares of these massive wealth enhancing and job creating bearer biological assets orchards, in the various communities and wards in the South East; Over 4million hectares in the South West and 4million hectares in the South South
SEFAPCOL shall facilitate the setting up of the cottage factories to process the agro commodities output from the upstream farm gates, and offtake the final processed commodities/agro products for local consumption and export ...
What we propose is a modified and improved mechanised and tech-driven version of the legacies and great visions of the legendary, Dr Michael Iheonukara Okpara.
Let us all work/partner together add over cumulatively over $50billion-$100billion to the South GDP and create over 10million new jobs, while reclaiming over 10million hectares of forests that would have been used by bandits and kidnappers as safe haven to operate
Lets do simple things that create all inclusive wealth for all. We are ready, willing, available and more than capable to drive this massive agro revolution scheme of arrangement, working and partnering with you

@aonanuga1956 Are you suggesting that the Supreme Court is now part of your administration rather than an independent and nonpartisan branch of the government?
Bashir is showing you people videos of tomato farming in Netherlands.
Didn't we all watch Peter Obi reference same Netherlands as he dissected the problems and presented a clear roadmap with the solutions?
Man incredulously took everyone on a journey in geography, in economics, heck! Even in human values! But toads like Bashir bleated like sheep in support of drug dealers and retards.
Bashir is a bunkum.
Nine years ago, sitting in a hotel room in Budapest, my girlfriend of just a couple weeks found out she was pregnant.
I was twenty-three and had just begun traveling the world. I hardly knew her and she hardly knew me.
*Chimamanda Adichie’s Words on Peter Obi*
“Peter Obi is comfortable in his skin. His air is of a person who is who he has always been, genial and genuine, transparent and level-headed, effortlessly himself.
He has that rare quality of supreme self-confidence unmarred by a fragile ego; he takes criticism in stride, has no use for pompousness, and can laugh at himself. He is uncommonly principled, especially so for a Nigerian politician, and while he never shies away from highlighting this, his sense of humour saves him from falling into the dingy pit of self-righteousness.
When his humour isn’t self-deprecating, it is sometimes sly, sometimes cutting, and almost always edifying. You find yourself laughing, but the laughter is a pathway to revelation. It makes you think or rethink ideas, and puts your mind to work.
His ease with data and numbers inspires confidence and suggests an intellectual curiosity, a keenness to learn; a man who does his homework because he wants to and not because he has to.
It is obvious how intimately he knows—and loves—Nigeria, how pained he is by the tarnish and the rot. He is too clear-eyed to be sentimental and too realistic to be ideological, and it is easy to imagine him creating an eclectic toolbox of political solutions. His worldview is shaped by the shrewdness of a self-made businessman, the steadfastness of a striver, and the soul of a dreamer.
Here is a wealthy man who is both quiet and unapologetic about his (clean and legitimate) wealth, who is contemptuous of the excesses of the privileged class, and who is completely at ease with ordinary people. This perhaps is why he is so effective at bridging the divisions of class and culture: his folksy wisdom is easily digestible and accessible to every kind of Nigerian.
His vision is aspirational but in a practical, achievable way. To hear him speak of expanding agriculture in the North, or of reducing corruption by starting at the top, is to re-imagine Nigeria in bold familiar fonts, a much better country yet recognizable still.
Above all else, he comes across as wonderfully human. He shows compassion without being false, and he speaks of the poor not as props but as people. He knows how much garri and fuel and bread cost today, and he knows what they cost last year, and he knows how unacceptable the difference is.
Amid such stark hardship in the country, it is heartening to see in Peter Obi a sign of inspirational leadership—the ability to leave people with a sense of attainable hope.”
@ndekekwe This same reversal fraud is likely happening in other banks and institutions. It took me almost two years to get a flight ticket refund, and this was after I escalated to the foreign airline HQ and told them I suspected fraud with their local team processing the refund.
| Victory at the AMVCAs! Igbo Kwenu! |
For those that missed it, last night was not just a win for our Show but a landmark moment for Igbo culture on the global stage. Nwunye Bekee, a series which beautifully explores the unions between Igbo men and women and their foreign spouses, received the award for Best Unscripted M-Net Original Series at the AMVCAs! 🏆
Of course the reception speech had to start with “Igbo Kwenu!”
This award is a tribute to all the mixed couples that participated in the show and the stories that unite us. Thank you to all for your support. We will continue to share our stories!

One of my Ghanaian in-laws is a pilot and flies in a private fleet based out of Nigeria. My wife asked him how he found Nigeria so far? He said there is a lot of money in Nigeria but unbelievable inequality. People are also the poorest he has seen. Not many can see this easily.
@Samdrew27881981@Gviev@Kellyceeee@Nairametrics "Market fundamentals" will not pay the humongous rate of return. Nigeria and Nigerians will pay the cost, and that's what the headline is all about.
@SpaceIntellige3 @SpaceX@SpaceXStarlink@nkknspace @HomemDoEspacoBr @InfographicTony@cnunezimages@spacex360 Inter-satellite laser communications means Starlink can carry data at speed of light in vacuum all around Earth before touching ground.
Over time, some amount of communication can simply be from one user terminal to another without touching the Internet.
@MikaelCBernard@Lithmike@seyilaw1 Osu caste system is a history that should not be propagated by an enlightened person in any form & manner. Just like you've pointed out that he has become one by association, it means nobody is spared from eating out, intimate relationships, receiving organs & tissues...
