Part 2
#The_Psychology_of_Crises
People will never lack reasons to disagree, nor will they lack reasons to agree. For every nation carries within it these two memories. Yet each era has its own instruments; tools that are deployed consciously or unconsciously. In our time, those tools have become incredibly advanced. With the rise of human sciences, mass persuasion, and the ability to shape public opinion at scale, it’s hard to believe that waves of unity or division are purely accidental. More often than not, they are guided, shaped, and amplified by powerful systems -intelligence and media apparatuses serving the agendas of those behind them. And so the question remains: What is our role in all of this?
1. Awareness comes first: We need to understand that the world is not black and white. Politics and the management of human societies will always exist in shades of gray, and we have to learn to live with that complexity.
Utopian thinking that rigidly categorizes people in absolute terms, has historically given rise to exclusionary phenomena such as Nazism, ISIS, Zionism, and others. It is important to note that many of these —such as ISIS— were not simply organic products of ideology or society but were deliberately engineered to mobilize masses by exploiting religious texts and social and political grievances.
2. Understand the nature of the current moment: We are living through a geopolitical phase in which many intelligence actors work to amplify religious, sectarian, societal, and national divisionsthrough the manipulation of grievances, religious texts, regional tensions, and inter-state rivalries.
3. The greatest role we can play is preserving cohesion: We need to prioritize wisdom and extinguish the fires of discord among the people of the region and the wider Ummah —whatever form those divisions may take: religious, social, or political.
4. Do not be an instigator of discord: Don’t fuel fitnah. Instead, follow the Prophetic: wherever you encounter the sparks of fitnah, move swiftly to extinguish them.
5. A message to elites, leaders, and decision-makers: This is a dangerous and complex moment and requires awareness —and a real sense of historical responsibility. It is not time to exploit divisions for short-term tactical gains. That only deepens the fractures that already exist. Instead, it calls for prioritizing the common good, and for exercising sound, rational judgement —without being swept away by emotional impulsiveness, especially in a world where a silent international majority are simply watching and waiting to benefit, while other active powers are shaping events without even basic ethical standards, playing outside the conventional rules of the international order. Such actors cannot be trusted, nor can their next moves be reliably predicted, especially when many of them were the very ones who ignited the conflict in the first place.
May Allah protect the Ummah, and all of humanity, from what is being plotted against them. And Allah knows best.

After creating over 140,000 images in Midjourney, one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that...
Three of the best ways to use storytelling in your images is to focus on:
1. Angles
2. Expressions
3. Light/Shadow
Why?
Because these all drive emotion.
Today, I scraped some of my most commonly used tokens (90+) and tried to use them to that drive emotion and compiled them into a list for you.
And I'm giving it away for free for the next 24 hours.

After Trump ordered the assassination of General Soleimani, an Iranian cleric complained that Iran can't even really retaliate because the US doesn't have any real heroes of its own like Soleimani, saying "Think about it. Are we supposed to take out Spider-Man and SpongeBob?"
I've never seen a more incisive and withering critique of western culture, and I probably never will. It's such an accurate statement and paints such a clear picture of what this civilization is really like that it's hard to imagine how anyone could possibly top it.
There are no real heroes with popular support in the western empire, because everything that's truly heroic gets stomped down here, and everything that gets amplified to popularity is either vapid distraction or directly facilitates the interests of the evil empire.
Our own generals are busy butchering civilians for oil and geostrategic control.
Our military personnel are imperial stormtroopers.
Our police are the security guards of capitalism.
Our most prominent journalists are all propagandists.
Our most prominent celebrities are famous because of their ability to pretend to be fictional characters doing fake things in Hollywood movies.
Our most prominent artists are famous for their ability to churn out formulaic pop songs about empty-headed bullshit.
Our most widely recognized symbols are corporate logos.
Our most highly regarded professionals are those who can sell westerners the most future landfill manufactured by wage slaves in the global south.
Our most well-known government leaders are those who've sold their souls to oligarchs and imperialists and can lie to the public most convincingly.
The only westerners doing truly heroic things here get thrown in prison, or murdered, or pushed into obscurity, because the only truly heroic thing anyone can do in today's world is to take a stand against the western empire.
Those who bravely resist the US war machine or make themselves inconvenient for the rulers of the western empire don't get to become popular heroes. You don't see the westerners who work to stop weapons shipments to Gaza being celebrated for their efforts on CNN and the BBC. You don't see antiwar activists getting Hollywood movies made about their work — at least not until the wars they were protesting lie safely in the distant past. You don't see journalists who work to expose the most egregious crimes of the empire being elevated to fame and fortune.
The only figures who get elevated to fame and fortune in this fake plastic dystopia are those who either actively serve the interests of the empire or who passively distract people from its abuses. Donald Trump. The Kardashians. Taylor Swift. Spider-Man and SpongeBob.
Those are the only heroes we're allowed to have here in any major way. You can have real heroes if you want, but if you tell the average westerner their names the first word out of their mouth will be, "Who?"
Every once in a great while someone will sneak past the many security checkpoints into fame and begin opposing the empire, but they are always quickly demonized and marginalized by the imperial perception managers. And for every Roger Waters or Susan Sarandon, there are a thousand imposter heroes making themselves extremely convenient for the rulers of the western empire.
This is the civilization we live in. A mind-controlled wasteland where everything is fake and stupid. The only path toward fulfillment and inner peace in such a dystopia is to dedicate yourself to tearing it down, brick by plastic brick.
Israel’s army has released fabricated dossiers framing us, the last remaining journalists in North Gaza reporting on Israel’s extermination and ethnic-cleansing campaign, as “terrorists”.
This blatant and belligerent attempt to transform us, the last witnesses in the north, into killable targets is an assassination threat and obvious attempt to preemptively justify our murder.
We would like to remind everyone that after murdering our colleague Ismail Al Ghoul, Israel released a document that claimed he supposedly received a military ranking on July 1, 2007, when he would have been a 10 year old child.
This public threat was made without any evidence and is part of a systematic propaganda campaign to justify the unjustifiable as Israel continues to target civilians in Gaza, including doctors, aid workers, children and us journalists.
We call on our colleagues and media institutions around the world to show their solidarity with us.
Despite these dangerous and untrue threats made against us, we remain committed to our profession and will continue to report the facts on the ground as the genocide regretfully continues unabated.
