A couple of weeks ago, our founder had the pleasure of serving as a committee member and co-chair of the AI Session at the Connections to Sustain Science in Latin America Symposium 2025 in Lima, Peru, organized by the National Academy of Sciences.

This symposium brought together brilliant minds from across the region to discuss how science and technology can drive sustainable progress. In the AI session, we explored the impact of artificial intelligence on Latin American scientific and industrial ecosystems, highlighting both opportunities and challenges, from healthcare innovation to biodiversity and ethical AI.

It was inspiring to engage with researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders committed to strengthening Latin America’s role in global science. A huge thank you to the organizers, specially Daniel Placht for the opportunity and trust, and fellow committee members for fostering such meaningful discussions!

Looking forward to continuing these conversations and collaborating on AI-driven solutions for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
