Wow, #Mrschaterjeevsnorway on @netflix is such a powerful story! 3 whole years!!! 😢 One of courage, love, helplessness, hopelessness, sacrifice & more. And that husband? 😒😡 May we not marry our enemy…
@deenprogress One guess about where that myth came from! Why is it valid for everyone else to enjoy the improvements in life caused by advances in medicine? Everyone except women that is! Menses, childbirth, hot flashes … seek therapy, don’t suffer through!
@sanchybabyboy Unfortunately, a lot of these kids are already struggling academically. Having to play catch up only leads to being further behind. Teenagers don’t always make the best choices. So, unless it was a truly egregious act, I think we should avoid potential life-altering punishments.
A kid does something ‘bad’ in school and gets suspended for 2 or more weeks. The kid then ends up playing catch-up for the rest of the school year. How does that help ‘reform’ the kid? I just think there has to be a better way…
@nurse_hangry The truth is, it’s hard. very hard. Those of us that care for kids can relate. But remember: 1 - You did everything that you could have (thanks for that) - we do not hold power over death. 2. It is NOT your fault. 3. It is ok to grieve and mourn! Debrief with colleagues helps too
