When the charity walk over a month total 123.45. 😄 I checked the formula wasn’t rounding either. Logged as miles on spreadsheet when my Strava is sent to km.
Working at a school that’s been around a while. Found this in back of a storage cupboard. Graph paper in inches. Definitely older than the students that used it today. Maybe older than me.
Not posted for a while. Did enjoy teaching some proper A level Trig to Y12 today. Impressed myself with the use of colour. Not sure the students were as keen on the level of brain power required though.
Given Denmark as a country for Diversity week. My form came with some ideas, but implementation was mainly me… 😬 Gave me chance to be a tad creative. Particularly pleased with my Lego bricks above the door.
It always amazes me how convinced pupils are that they will find a counterexample in the space of a single lesson.

Around this time of year I endeavour to get my Year 11s to explore the internet and find what resources are useful to them by giving them this 'resource review' sheet, take them into a computer room, and they explore a few of the fantastic maths websites out there.
@TalkTalk - Absolutely ridiculous. Call tech support number and directed to text service as queues long. Text service directs you to internet. I don’t have internet….insert your own swear words here.
@TalkTalk - why is the standard reply to any service issues. “The problem is at your end…” we haven’t touched any cables. Asking me to check them and see if powered. Seems like I’m in an episode of the IT crowd
@DubaiBritishEH Think you missed the sustainability point offering a disposal camera as a prize. Ironic and slightly disappointing. You win a camera for using a camera. Surely a winning prize should reflect sustainability.
