@KatyMJo1 @bennessb not pain so much as i’ve been getting absolutely steamrolled by (mcas?) reactions. idk if there’s more pollen or something with the weather being weird but i’m exhausted constantly reacting to new things & having to find replacements
at this point of chronic illness burnout, an entire body part could fall off & i would just shrug and put some paper towels down so i could go back to playing sims
It's also other-ing and, frankly, rude. "Yes, it's ok for people like YOU do to that because we can't expect you to be as Good and Professional as the rest of us." 2/3
also does anyone else ever just stop caring?? last night i reacted to green rooibos tea & just kept drinking it bc it was tasty despite the burning in my mouth and throat & i guess i just have caregiver burnout for myself
#NEISvoid how do y’all maintain the hope & energy required to see new docs, try new treatments etc? i feel like it would probably be useful for me to pursue MCAS dx & maybe go on meds but it’s just so draining & i’m so burnt out just managing this all on my own
i’m terrified of trying to go through the process again, expending so much energy just to be misinterpreted or treated like i’m malingering & wasting everyone’s time.
I had to refuse treatments for my legs today because I couldn't afford it. The more patrons I have the more medical care I can get. You can join for as little as $1 + tax per month. Get your friends to join too! And if you haven't, join today!
I’m begging you for help, please don’t scroll past this❗
My wife is in so much pain. Severe nausea, bleeding,&chest and stomach pain. Her pancreatic enzymes are 140x the normal amount always, bleeding excessively
when you have all these things killing you from the inside out
The real life impacts of brain fog are far more severe than the name suggests. It can mean losing the ability to speak, to read, to form coherent sentences, to make a simple meal. Forget about working.
And it can last for years. Well over a decade in my case.
