Met with H.E. Amb. @APRM_MarieRose, CEO of the APRM Continental Secretariat, where I reaffirmed Kenya’s strong support for APRM’s mandate and operations across the continent.

Our engagement reflects Kenya’s deep commitment to inclusive development, democratic governance, and socio-economic transformation, anchored within APRM’s continental architecture.

I also welcomed the inclusion of Prof. @OliveMugenda as an APRM Panel Member and Chairperson, confident that her leadership and experience will add significant value to APRM’s work.

Earlier in the day, I received a courtesy visit from Amb. Dr. Samori Okwiya, the CEO of @NepadAprmKenya secretariat, along with his team. During the meeting, he provided me with an overview of the County Peer Review Mechanism initiative, currently taking place in Kakamega and scheduled to conclude this Friday. I welcome and support this program, which aims to foster a framework based on evidence for robust citizen engagement at the County Level.
