One of my favorite lessons I’ve learnt from working with smart people:
Action produces information. If you’re unsure of what to do, just do anything, even if it’s the wrong thing. This will give you information about what you should actually be doing.
Sounds simple on the surface - the hard part is making it part of your every day working process.
I’m convinced that 99% of a successful marriage is just genuinely enjoying each other’s company. People make these long lists of traits they want to find in a partner, but so much of life just comes down to being kind and pleasant to be around.
perlukan hiburan atau gelak tawa?
boleh tengok these movies:
1. La La Land
2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
3. Her
4. We Live In Time
5. A Man Called Otto
6. Five Feet Apart
7. 5cm per second
8. Blue Valentine
9. The Perks of Being a Wallflower
When Kobe Bryant said his insane level of confidence came from knowing he’d done all he could to prepare, it taught me that anytime I’m nervous it means I didn’t prepare enough.
My life as a woman changed when I learned that crying is necessary and actually a way our bodies release cortisol/other toxins built up during emotionally stressful periods.
Crying also releases endorphins/oxytocin which are natural pain relievers, hence why you feel so much better after a good cry. Ladies, cry if you need to!
My take 10 years of dating and about 35-40 first dates later:
Men who are serious about their life- disciplined, focused, and grounded will let you know if they’re interested immediately. No games, no cryptic texts, no guessing.
And when they really like you? They’ll be the most chalant men you’ve ever met. Clear, consistent, & proud about it.
It’s the ones lost in their own lives who’ll lead you on, joke around, and call the grounded ones ‘delulu’ or ‘clingy.’
Men who are sure of themselves don’t play it cool; they’re proudly, loudly chalant.
You stayed clean for 3 weeks. You meditated. You journaled. You felt okay. Then you slipped. Not because you’re weak, but because your neurons hadn’t built enough insulation yet. The wires sparked under stress. Keep repeating. Plasticity takes time.
Avoid these agency killers at all costs:
>being a boring individual
>not having hobbies and knowing what you like
>getting stuck with the people you despise
>settling for less than you are worth
>falling for the traps that lead you into mediocrity
>living for external validation
